Just a little more podcast if you can defend it. Maybe not the podcast for you. Episode three zero nine. Who are you, quiz, this week? Just five failed last week again. So question number one. Bernardo Selva had his last game for Monsetti there at the weekend. For Man City. But which club did Monsetti sign him from? Did uh Bernardo Silver sign when he went to say in 2017? Question number two. Um Andy Robertson also said goodbye to Liverpool the weekend. How many school in the cops is he going? Question four. Um did Crystal Palace play in the European League Conference final this week? Uh but who do they play in the final And the last question? Oh my numbers will be somebody for the right number and you get a point for each game, so that makes it fairer. So question uh number one. Um Bernardo Silva left Man City. Um well he's leaving the Man City in his last game at the weekend. Um did mine city sign him from Lisbon or Sevilla. Monaco isn't it? Monaco Andy Robertson uh said goodbye to Anfield at the weekend. How many caps has he got for Scotland? 92. 92. Oh I get it. Who scored uh the winning goal for Spurs to save their season from the drop? Pachetta or something. I can't remember.
SPEAKER_06Paulina. Paulina Pachetta.
SPEAKER_01Half a point for that.
SPEAKER_06Jeez. Bacon is it?
SPEAKER_01Chunks are question four. Palmas play in the Europa League uh conference final this week. Um who do they play?
SPEAKER_06I just wrote down a heap of random letters because I can't spell the name. Fitz it's supposed to spell. I bet he gets it.
SPEAKER_10It's a real Validido Validiland.
SPEAKER_01It's real Vallicano. Am I getting that or if I was. Question five. Um name your well first of all, how many clubs are eight?
SPEAKER_10Probably ten, like I've got eight.
SPEAKER_01One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. I've got to go.
SPEAKER_10Oh, well I've got seven clubs, but I thought I've missed one.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So Arsenal, I've got Arsenal. Yes, yes. Uh Man City, yes. Yes. Liverpool, yes, Villa. Yes. Bournemouth. Yeah, Sunderland.
SPEAKER_09Oh I know how about Chelsea.
SPEAKER_01Chelsea on N on in Europe next season. That's unbelievable, isn't it? That's crazy.
SPEAKER_10So one, two, three, four, five, six for it. Seven, eight. Eight points. Eight points.
SPEAKER_04Seven. Seven.
SPEAKER_01That's crazy how much teams is getting over next time. It's ridiculous. It's nonsense.
SPEAKER_06Bournemouth next season in Europe. Well, how much how much how much actual European games of Fitball did you watch?
SPEAKER_02Just the knockouts in the Champions League.
SPEAKER_01Aye knock out, maybe.
SPEAKER_02I was a bush in the summer movie.
SPEAKER_06I'll probably watch a final of the final of the conference. The Champions League. I'm gonna watch the final conference.
SPEAKER_10I'd uh think I'll watch probably when I watch that.
SPEAKER_08I think maybe I think we'll see it.
SPEAKER_01I think it's a half five kickoff. Is it why when they see it? Why we need to see it? We'll be coming back for a Scotland game.
SPEAKER_10I wanna. No, it's the Champions League you're on a week. Aye. Oh sorry. It's a morning aye. Is it morning or Thursday? More aye. Is it high five kickoff for a Champions League? Champions League Scotland kickoff one half one.
SPEAKER_09One half one.
SPEAKER_10I wanna see it. No. I will, I will.
SPEAKER_08Maybe who gif something weird slow up in the bus. I think it's is it free on HBO or something like that?
SPEAKER_02Is it the idea?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_01Free on HBO? Aye. Well HBO's now part of TNT. What is it?
SPEAKER_02So that's the first time it's naming on Terrestra or something like that, is it? Is that for this year?
SPEAKER_05Is it on ITV, did it? That's when it was good. Aye.
SPEAKER_02Ron Atkinson.
SPEAKER_05Oh well I'm gonna go watch it now.
SPEAKER_02No principle. Principle.
SPEAKER_01So I a lot of few players uh a lot at the weekend there. So I'll do the M fine.
SPEAKER_06How would they have got internationals at the same day as up?
SPEAKER_10I know that seems Yeah, you think a big biggest game in global.
SPEAKER_06Why's European teams playing? Friendlies.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Maybe that's why it's an early kickoff. Ridiculous. On the clock, is it? Warm up for the World Cup.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's a big game.
SPEAKER_01I send off. See, advocates back as you could have cut was good. I left and then he could come back. Just not be break. So I'd be fine. Yes, Mike. No. Tired. Tired? So I'd say if it's already been up to the weekend, but I could do an all-on-one.
SPEAKER_06Do an one on Mike, take it away.
SPEAKER_01Aye, so Friday. Got up about quarter past five. I'll be up early in Friday. I was didn't pass five, I was up. I hardly slept a wink.
SPEAKER_06I mean, there was a Christmas Eve.
SPEAKER_01I was just tossing Darm and I wasn't getting going. Aye. Up here for six. No, set up and nothing. So golf day on Friday, so cracking day. Weather was good tests. Fair amount of golfers playing golf. 196 golfers on the course, two different parts of the day. You just get it was gonna be a good day when the first team went off in the drive.
SPEAKER_06The first team drove near onto Potting Green. Here we go. This is where Calbert got first. We've started.
SPEAKER_02Ken, where it was just like the least best team have you given it, but I'd be just had out in their head at the worst drive, it's just so I'd say near 70% just fucked it off the first D basically. That boy from three do the middle and then him a fit for the putting green, was it? You were obviously there. How did they get on with the second shots? No, the the practice green inside the club. Straight right, and we were playing reverse scramble, so it's like 120 yards right.
SPEAKER_06Aye, ten yards forward and 120 yards.
SPEAKER_10We'd like to get it that far off a tea.
SPEAKER_06Aye.
SPEAKER_10But I didn't again, but it's reverse scramble, so I'm in the top house and I look suit and they're up playing their second shot. I'm going, I can't be a bitch. And then it was still oh no, it's it's reverse at first. Reverse? Reverse. Oh it's a worse shot for the fur I for the first shot. I was like, holy fuck. I fucked up a lot of folk to it. I did I was a few bogies at first.
SPEAKER_06You should have not just a nine iron down the middle every single time. I was saying I and then you're uh then you're just in play. That's a good die, so it's you can fuck up a nine-iron up a day. But three years aren't I got it, four years are gonna fuck it up, surely.
SPEAKER_05Ah, but I that's one.
SPEAKER_02The worst thing it's merely as the fact nobody's practicing you've just rocked up the first D and it and that's what happens. Aye. And normally because it's a best D and it doesn't bother nobody but because it was a worst scene.
SPEAKER_01No, so the course was first T half at seven o'clock, then it just non-stop after that was it. After three o'clock. Every ten minutes after that. Aye, so Dunk was on the first, Mass was on the fourth, Ched was on the tenth, um Leo was in the twelfth, yeah. I was in the clubhouse and about cracking day, um Tists I can fight. Abdis came along to golf day, it's been it was brilliant.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, um, if you start to finish with the Garfield, the whole sponsors, through the main sponsor being Barrett, so the whole sponsors, Abd United Raffles, um the the guys that did the food, the golf uh the golf course themselves, yeah, um and other teams that entered took part. Absolutely fantastic.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You're the the money man if we've got a tool.
SPEAKER_10So I'd probably just like to mention every sponsor uh that helped us out because I think they deserve it, especially like main sponsors Barrett's for give us a load of cash, team two teams. Uh so without him, well it's still worth doing, but still again. It's a good look. Massive helped us, Barrett's. So it's the second year in a row they've been our main sponsors, give us a load of money. So massive uh thanks to them. Uh McWilliam Lip Architects. So Ringo, he did all the goodie bags, which were quality goody bags. Uh good bags, and uh when you put it all together, it's a fair bit of money. So yeah, just gives some other teams a bit of something, does it can so massive, massive thanks to Ringo and uh so other whole sponsors, so Craig Allen Builders, uh Celebrations, Skippers, Ash Ted, um WM Donald, NSB Contractors, uh PMC Property Management, Crown Motors, Hunt and Energy Services, CMB Builders, Elston Accounting, Cowie Plummin, RSD Vantage, RMM Brunch Midi, Nicola Skeen and Leafs. They are sponsored a whole like so huge thanks to them again. But them it's kinda kind of it's near the same. Like so it's fine to get their banners up, get their sponsors, uh get their banner out there, and uh great companies, some local and something about so massive thanks to them. Also uh for Glenn Cairns for came and did video video and uh footage and stuff, and uh he also had a team out with Jim and uh other boys, so uh Glenn's a good lad. Massive thanks to him, Devon Direct for putting the water and uh chocolate, so Abdi got a bottle of water and a sweetie to go with their uh goodie bags. So big thanks to Devon Direct. Jeans a BAM, so uh they put uh made sure Abdi had a beer each tenth if they wanted in. So big thanks to them, Jeans again sponsoring uh it's a massive help. This uh Devon Services they sponsored the driver. So uh the driver was won by Mo. Clarky Mo is if his famous name was enough, but well so Devon Services sponsored the driver, Centurion. Uh they sponsored the trophies, so are the trophies that went out are them little medals and stuff, and makes it feel like a better day. Uh Torah printers, did I say them for whole sponsors, but they also did our banners and uh helped us with the t-shirts, put the TPS, put the sponsors on the t-shirts and have you. So uh massive thanks to our companies for a market worthwhile day in and uh good enough to splash your cash like so we are in it all in. Uh so we we're teening uh for the charity 30,840 quid. So fair number. Uh we are put up against so the teams, the sponsors, the raffles, uh fellows helped various things on the day, like uh nearest the pin. Near nearest the pen, if you had double or nothing we put in competition with him. So forgot nearest the pin again, Dave uh so I was a good uh putter, Scotty Cameron, Scotty Cameron, latest model, but he he says no no tuck it back and uh we auctioned it after the end, so got a bit of money for that. Blind auctions, blind auctions. Aye got a bit of silent auctions for your sake, uh bit of money for that as well. So I added up, so uh it's a fair so we beat last year's, but hey, 25.5 so what last year six grandes mental serious amount of serious amount of money teen for raffles which we drew a night, so uh we'll put uh that up in Facebook after uh the podcast, so you'll find out if you've won a prize or not. So uh hi. Hi I give her a great day and a great amount raised for Rainbow Rogues. So fair chuffed we uh Abdi's involvement. Thanks for Abdi that helped us as well. Full team, it's not just us four. There's other folk that helped us as well. Uh Lisa, Ched's Lisa, uh she had two kids, Erin and Leo, were there on the day. Er Elaine, Nikki, Laura, um and obviously Kate. I did quite a lot of work and uh Kerry as well for Rainbow Rogues. Um I think I think that's it. I hope I've never missed Nibdi here. Uh you're whispering there. No, no, no, no. Sure, that's Abdi. If I've missed on Abd, I apologize. Uh we've got a lot of help in the day for a lot of folks. So um hi, for Chuffed. No, yeah. Well done Abdi, big pat in the back, good money for charity. And uh well done to the winners. If it was unlucky 13, 13's unlucky, Liam Marktier. 13's unlucky, Liam McIntyre and his mob. Uh they won the scratch and the handicap. Uh so maybe next year I was thinking about if the scratch the scratch winners get theirs and then the second for handicaps. We should have maybe did that, but we didn't think of that. We'd have had a few drinks and wasn't really thinking about that. But next year we wouldn't allow uh the scratch winners to win the handicap.
SPEAKER_08We weren't allowed to be drinking until about five or six o'clock. Some more you'd think you're an eh?
SPEAKER_10Sitting at four thirty day just supping beer. Yeah, you think you're alright, but you're probably an eh, because we couldn't mind handing out the vouchers and the cats, so we'll get him sitting out to leave.
SPEAKER_01I don't mind the photos with the winners. No, I was photos. I was photos I took photos. I think mine photo with mind your speech, Mike. No, I mind the photo with Mo for the driver. Um I mind giving Kevakart a birthday cake.
SPEAKER_10That's right. Kev uh he got a birthday cake because it was his birthday. Uh Kev Okurt was uh representing our main sponsor. Uh Barretz. Yeah, so uh it's all good, it's all good. What are raffles like fucking mental? It's a pity anybody uh we could Niggie Zahar prize, to be honest. Yeah, it's ever prize. Yeah, the generosity is unbelievable because just shell out for raffles is unbelievable. Like yeah, and uh can I believe that number? Aye. A pity and then we couldn't get Abdi something, but we'd definitely appreciate Abdi that bought a raffle. Uh it's brand new for Abdi. Abdi does should Abdate uh donated or er bought a raffle or came. You're uh uh part of it, so massive thanks to Abdi.
SPEAKER_06There's a lot of golf days, they're semi-serious boys, but 99.9% couldn't give a toss about File 1, they were just there for a crack to get seshed and sport of charity, and it was brilliant cracked a charity and I I I didn't I didn't believe for one minute Omdi could have come up here and thought, nah, that wasn't it good because it was good for it was a good atmosphere, the weather was good, Umdi was enjoying himself.
SPEAKER_02Food was good, food was good, plate for your food, you go I was serious because I did you keep rubber him in the radio says as far as get swapped because I was steaming in the first link. Uh because I had a nine-year-old.
SPEAKER_10That's another thanks to James and uh Rachel for race to deal with like so easy to deal with. They'll just keep you on a hangass with them for the golf club. Green keepers also of Adrian for doing other food as Shed said it's a fair plate, fair food, and pudding and all that. So big thanks to them, bar staff Martin. They were rushed off the flat out we just three deep at the bar for a while. Like so I did really well. Aye, the bar staff are great, kept uh the drink coming, probably two-wheel.
SPEAKER_08I didn't spend a lot.
SPEAKER_02No, no, struggled to buy a rune.
SPEAKER_10Aye, I was buying a few runes. Double the life turning. I'm not surprised they were losing. I'm glad I got a waffle then. Thing is, you try and go rune update, but you just doesn't get a chance, can it's like Gal O'Neal was there, I don't think I even hardly spoke to them, Ken. I did get I did get trying to get a few folk guy. I think I spent most of my time with the uh the porty boys and uh I'd uh Managed to get around to the R Broth lads. Oh Joe and other. Ah, it's the second time in a row. Uh they're a last focus mind seeing because they were doing a hell of Liverpool and they were the last boys of mine drinking me, so I'm must be spiking my drink. Must be to our both boys.
SPEAKER_01It's their fault. Ah, great, great day. Weather was brilliant. It was good.
SPEAKER_02I like for you, Mike.
SPEAKER_01Probably just the things I mine. No, I was just starting to finish. Obviously, it was in good fit. That's if it probably gets you in the mood and you end up getting a few drinks and getting a bit merry too quicker than the colour. No, it was just it was excellent. It was just awesome. Just an awesome day.
SPEAKER_06Well, we're we were across setting up on a Thursday afternoon, dean out of the banners and getting set up in the clubhouse and I'm just you're just rearing to go and you hardly slept a winking night on a Thursday night and you're up here, up here early doors, and you're you're nervous, you're excited, you didn't. First boys are half teen, you think, right? We're up and running, we're up and running. And then when they start coming in, and there's all that folk of folk going out, there's folk coming in, there's folk hanging about, and you're like, I come three or four in the afternoon, it's like whoo yeah, this place is bouncing.
SPEAKER_10So obviously a lot of preparation going it to get through the uh through the meetings with the through the year and uh stuff at folk that see um a lot of what goes on, and obviously the day before it's quite a lot of work setting up banners and getting that organised, and then like the first tour, like you say, before the first group you're in a bit of like right get a with the raffles and I think it's set up and kind of stuffy kinda detail out of the day. But after that, you're kinda to the almost 90 day, yeah. And then obviously you get a wee uh rush it in, try to get in the banners and stuff like that. Yeah, cracking about the dockies.
SPEAKER_06We needed all that folk though, because yeah, you needed toilet breaks, you needed some swap out for your dinner.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, right, definitely let somebody a lot to do something and kind of was yeah, mayor folk could see it to help it better like the coins fairly enjoyed gonna the course this year. Uh they fairly enjoyed that just getting a bit of a banter with the the golfers as well.
SPEAKER_06It was fine for them to get out and booting.
SPEAKER_10I definitely I think they enjoyed that. Like, I think Elaine spent some time at a tenth and uh she did uh yeah raking in money there.
SPEAKER_01Fair play when I was there, the folk who were putting in and I think there's maybe two or three of them got on the green. Just said nah, just keep it money.
SPEAKER_06I think as I was audience, I'll keep it to keep the money, like the Ken of my ten a buck. That's fine, yeah. It's fine, no brother.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but it's a crazy amount of money, boys. It really is.
SPEAKER_06Oh, if you've said I mentioned that this morning, I was like, or I said I know holy smokes.
SPEAKER_10I was Ken, like you set sell a goal, but it's beat last year, and you're heeding them, David.
SPEAKER_02I was going well D will to beat at mate.
SPEAKER_10You'd beat next year uh last year's total, Ken. And then I said again, me and Katie obviously Katie's got a lot of the the numbers, so I'm fucking uh pretty much and we're just shy of the 30. And then I was like, ah, you gotta get 30 somehow, so one more post is raffles, kid. And then fucking hell, we got about fucking 1400 pounds worth of raffles last night, Ken. That got us through the 30, so uh like I say, I'm but I feel bad that we kind of yabdy something, Ken, but uh only constant.
SPEAKER_01Uh only thing I suppose the golfers are got a goodie bag, I suppose, on the day, which was got a goodie bag.
SPEAKER_06I just hope Abdi's really enjoyed himself.
SPEAKER_01The things for like for me, like standing in the clubhouse, and just somebody appears and like introduced this guy, and Paul, the Duke of Tarvis. Oh, the Duke of Tarvis. Comes all the way up for Tarvis. We had a lot of hamper. Just a gaze of hamper, a great hamper, and explains I'm a hamper, and his wife meets us, and and I get you guys in, and you meet him and drink with him, and it things have got a macad, why I like it.
SPEAKER_06The folk had just appeared up, just uh boys in the scene for years.
SPEAKER_01Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
SPEAKER_06Enjoy the crack, enjoy just meeting Abdi and getting getting a crack with Abdi. But the good bar and different, it was good fun.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the w the weather fairly made it. There were some some good shots during the day and some upside. I was a lot of shouts of four. I a lot of majority of boys in the course have never heard.
SPEAKER_02Definitely new because fair results, 55 net win and a 60 scratch. That's that's perfectly reasonable.
SPEAKER_10That's definitely neat cheating. I think it does help for folk are mulling a boot kind of date not if I was driving okay.
SPEAKER_06Think for folk think that would be caught in that because I used to uh every every I blah blah five drive to use it first. Oh, that's right. Aye, yeah, you used urine, we can't use you all born a green. Ah, it's a green. Oh, I'm lucky.
SPEAKER_01Same as the 17th, I followed a group to the 17th. Fuz out of their par three. Aye, okay, get him on the back for the three. I think it was Jed's group, was it? Aye, and he was obviously worse for wear at that point. Aye. And he put it away in the trees awarding the left. He was only had to use it.
SPEAKER_10Aye, brilliant. Yeah, it would probably be good putting somebody to 17th, because you should only have one hit, can aye. Aye, maybe I bet we might get a whole one air next year. Well, we'll manage the closest uh pen and longest drive. Geeful folk, peace of mind, and I'd say like all we're watching you, can it's more like good prizes? Abdi Ken's well, father got it. Got it.
SPEAKER_01Can I witness the longest drive, so I sat me and I I went well, I went down in the longest drive, then uh Ringo beat it. I think that's a good drive, so it'd be tough to beat. Then you went down in somebody beat it. Like last year, boy, Benares was you early doors, very close to pen closest to Ben.
SPEAKER_02And Sean Lowe in the first third group or something.
SPEAKER_01But the closest to Ben, the fourth, I was with you at point mine, was just standing yapping and it never moved. Sorry, just it's a deaf shot, it was a beezer.
SPEAKER_10But he I was seeing like pretty close, and I thought, oh Nibbi's gonna beat that, and he halved it again. Aye. Then I thought Nibbi's beating that and Nibbdi did. Fozzie was it? Fozzie will be spewing. He was pretty close. I should have a good shot, pretty close. Aye. But poke odd just right inside of it. Fucking good.
SPEAKER_01Like Glenn got hot in the chest and uh did he? Oh, I never mentioned that. No, didn't he? Got hot in the chest on the 15th grain. Aye. Somebody was teen up in the 14th. 15th. Fuck! Just turned around with the cart and it just bounced off him.
SPEAKER_08At least it bounced off a gun first.
SPEAKER_10But you clean the chest, that's a bruise for a life.
SPEAKER_01It was a nawn in nearly in the seventh uh the 16th, didn't I? Was it football as it if it happened?
SPEAKER_02Oh somebody green, eh?
SPEAKER_10Rov the green, did it? Aye. A gill again, me a morning. Same. Same. Same.
SPEAKER_02You apologize, I think. They took it well and then you apologise in the bar after.
SPEAKER_06You hear a shot, you hear a shot of four, or you hear a shot of four.
SPEAKER_02It's that old classic though, where you think I can do it, but the chances of my D are like and again. Flush it.
SPEAKER_10There's a part of you who goes, I can it's gonna be fucking savage if I do do it, but if I do do it, I've done it, and it's good.
SPEAKER_06Well, you see some boys are terrible at golf and they're waiting. Ken somebody's on the first green and they're waiting to drive him.
SPEAKER_10Like, come on, come on, they hit their shot and it goes 20 yards.
SPEAKER_01You had a good type of four, you've seen a good four and uh I was fucking I couldn't stop laughing.
SPEAKER_10Like it's just there's something funny about this boy D and F at a seventh and uh the sixth green. If you'd uh familiar with her, I just write aside the seventh D-box. Well, you shouldn't have begun nailing them anyway.
SPEAKER_11And uh I was up at a fourth, and I just had a four I really like adamant four and like I just claw oh fucking one of them and I looked doing this for the bucket in the sixth grade, and just seen a flash of white Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_10But I was forced there because he had seven T-boxes and the ninth T-box, I was just forced there. Folk tried to get through the trees and then obviously folk tea enough at first.
SPEAKER_02I like honestly. It was like me and Dave Pocott were stunned there and hunt the he's at the other side of the barn. I was at one side, hot the banner. Uh nearly killed us.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, protection for that trees there. Oh aye. Because if you're hooked in there and you're gonna go fucking shouting for uh ninth day was unbelievable. I was just hearing four that day, kid.
SPEAKER_11And then that Ken from that bar goes into trees and they're just a heap of trees, kid.
SPEAKER_06I'd be a lot of folk. If you went to looking for golf buses, a lot of Ross McWill uh McWilliam lip golf buses. 100%, especially up at 12th. Aye, they did the longest drive up at 12th.
SPEAKER_10Oh, you see, heard was plop. Well erringo obviously put a lot of money in for the the goodie bags and uh he gave Kate a heap of money for Raffles, didn't he? And he must have put the hood on the end of the bar.
SPEAKER_11He texted me like all of fun.
SPEAKER_06He says, uh I'll text you if I'm going up night, and just by hook or by crook, I just checked my phone because I was just finished my dinner. I got fucking Ringo's double three double vodkas and coke and a double gin and tonic. So I'm up at barn, just the zertina for tent. He says, Oh I was worried I didn't need Kenneth I'd see you here in hand and wore 30 quid worth.
SPEAKER_02He's made nearly Mark View's he did a fair skite.
SPEAKER_10Oh, fair skite because well, I just sat went for an hour and a fucking hell. I better get the fuck out of here.
SPEAKER_02I'm just gonna be cut, is like and then I ended up in DSB with Ringo and Banner. So I got my store rang, so I thought he got charged with him. He didn't get charged for a room at Bam Springs, but he ended up getting in that taxi with Ringo because he appeared back for the dead to inch, and then he ended up getting a taxi out of the way back to Burkleathan, which cost him £210. I might be bidding with Zippy because they said look, you could two double beds because you could just it's because there was two of them, he could just crash in there, but uh they tried to phone Zippy and his battery went flat and he was obviously game over because he'd a fair skin full of rough in the morning when I said that like I was a the no the the Roth boys wasn't here, was they they bid Devhren Lodge aye uh he was drinking with Crater for a while, calling Craig.
SPEAKER_10He was in good form, uh Crater's a good lad, like good player, like aye. Boy makes fucking super leagues. I would have won a few won a threat. Yeah, I know. We were on a few, maybe. Ah I know they're a good team.
SPEAKER_01Boy McBoy's boy McGalfy Houston McGalfy Houston for Miguel for the house. Yeah, big Miguel. He bought he bought a neighbor dean top, so never being top, so he bought him for a hundred fifty note and um only time I turned around, he was there when we gave my drink. Uh yeah.
SPEAKER_06You fancy you, mate. I did. Thanks. A couple of shout-outs to his mate, Banf. What was his mate again? Chris Davidson. I thought it was I so Chris would have got a give you video messages, video messages, I think.
SPEAKER_01We was ripping him. Nah, it was a great day, great night. Um, honestly. It was uh it was fantastic, it was really good. Just uh how was I doing the Saturday morning?
SPEAKER_05I was alright. I was shady for a while.
SPEAKER_01Shady, but I felt worse.
SPEAKER_02Like I just like you stick to body and like kind of been out, kind of tired rough.
SPEAKER_01I wasn't tired near the end of fire bars or just getting flown out willing to be.
SPEAKER_10Every time I turn around or some kind of fire bar in my face, I just bade a waffle.
SPEAKER_01I did hear him like they were fine, like a few bit aye. It was up in Saturday. You looked tired and sat in the house. I did, I struggled with that mate. I didn't hear any food on the Friday night, so that's why maybe didn't I hear the carving?
SPEAKER_02There's a separate there's a separate part alone for Mike's speech, though, isn't there?
SPEAKER_06When you asked for water at the lunch on Saturday, I thought aye.
SPEAKER_01You'd like to have water when you're heading off some food, do you know? That was the first thing you asked for. Was it? Aye speech was good.
SPEAKER_02Speech was good.
SPEAKER_01Uh first time ten minutes long. The first time by the time we've heard it three four.
SPEAKER_02First time. Then he read you the wrong scores again.
SPEAKER_06Let's see, next year we'll hit our prescript. No, no, something Martin James said.
SPEAKER_01Aye. Uh then think you're gonna do the acceptance for the award for the podcast awards, are you? That's fine, eh?
SPEAKER_06Well, first dean and second, or I'm dean both.
SPEAKER_08But again, I've never thought about it. I'll do best. It's alright. Just go up and say it.
SPEAKER_10Uh I said the first thing.
SPEAKER_06Fit God do, I think.
SPEAKER_10Just God. Just spiking pure Doric, so nib the understanding. They'll just hate the fuck the juke's.
SPEAKER_01Great day, great day. Saturday. Um obviously went out for our lunch to hear. We celebrated lunch and drinks, and I just uh obviously we never didn't last year and we kind of regretted it and they gonna out last year, so um we didn't have and uh I was a bit ropey.
SPEAKER_06Um sorry once you got a few beers in.
SPEAKER_01Once I got a couple of beers in, I was I was away again, like so. Fine meal. Very good. I'd uh tacos. Beef tacos.
SPEAKER_10Beef tacos that were fine, like crispy Langestines really fine. Uh uh main meal for the head, chicken, uh that was really fine. Uh cheesecake. It was bland, was it hardly taste or anything? Was that like consistency?
SPEAKER_01Because when you seen it, when it was sitting there, it looked like it was melting.
SPEAKER_06I did I I did Bruch followed by the beef shenan tortellini and then a cheese board. Superb. Tortellini was a fairy, actually a fair.
SPEAKER_01I I never heard never my past Alec. You know Ling could have shared.
SPEAKER_06Oh no, you you're different.
SPEAKER_01Exactly.
SPEAKER_02That's why we shared, because Bernard Starvin did you leave and have a blade.
SPEAKER_06I was thinking about asking for about hours.
SPEAKER_01You never had pasta, no, you uh she think cloggy if she didn't like it.
SPEAKER_10She was that impressed with that. She said that one of them was a fellow. Oh my features said, but she wasn't impressed with it. The drink was fine though.
SPEAKER_01Uh the drink was fine, aye. Thanks for good. Yeah, I can't believe it. Just sitting yapping shout. Get another gossip. That was a good laugh. Get another laugh.
SPEAKER_02It was a good laugh. It was I've never honestly laughed that much in a long time.
SPEAKER_01So we left here, I went doing uh TSP and watched the last half well watched the last 25 minutes of the haul game. Aye. Last well, last couple of minutes, right? Bernie. Aye. Fourth minute injury time, wasn't it? Yes, aye. Um F1 sprint. Did we watch it? Oh, we did. Aye. No, it was it was good with folk coming in and folk went in photos and was there a few photos on a goal, was there? A few photos on a go. Big C. Big C aye. Reception supplying it to the Meadows vets in Eldrim. She says, I come in your you come at my work, and I'm gonna first work do I go in and also like the vets with a dog. So photo with them and folks is randomly genius firebars again. Aye, aye. Then uh good laugh at it. We did hear good just some amount of shite spoken, was there? Ah, it was funny though. It was good fun.
SPEAKER_10Fucking Cunalingus and stuff like uh Ned Dean at right. Oh aye, that's good. Oh, it was funny as fuck. Allahine was criticising Mike's Cunninghamus.
SPEAKER_05Aye. Wasn't up to scratch.
SPEAKER_01At least I might be doing it, can shed maybe sleepwalking doing it, was it? Oh, what a laugh.
SPEAKER_02Was you? No, I was a wabby that time. Was he neat?
SPEAKER_10I know you were so ready. Shed sleep margin.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Was you a what that time? I left about half three quarters of order to go get away.
SPEAKER_01I was thinking it was after the the food moot food. Was it?
SPEAKER_10Aye.
SPEAKER_04What's it?
SPEAKER_02Oh funny. Sounds funny. It was funny.
SPEAKER_10So Lisa says she shed's been drinking, she's on tender hooks in the bed, can't you? Yeah, if it's gonna happen. She heard him getting up and she was like, first he gone. So he didn't go in the bathroom. First time I did, uh went in for a pee. Aye. But the the the main time he didn't go in for a pee, went right down the stair and she was kind of ears are pricked, can wondering if the fuck's gonna go on, can but she thought, oh, he might be gonna doing might be doing a spew or a shite, can so he's went to do the stairs, toilet.
SPEAKER_11But uh no, he walked by in and she had to the door going for outside. So she runs down the stair. What are you gonna? She said stark bollock. Nah, Stark bollock naked.
SPEAKER_06I was having like it was naked in bed.
SPEAKER_11And then she goes, Far you got football gonna reply again. I can't like it.
SPEAKER_01I can't mind fit and locked up for that fucking outside. Nick News on it. I can't mind.
SPEAKER_11Then he's forgotten I hit his hands up on it like a forgotten he started doing can like get hitting a boxing bar. Getting back boxing. He was doing it, he started doing that. I thought, oh, he was about to go in his bike. I wouldn't have I would have just left him. What a laugh I would have been funny on the bike.
SPEAKER_06Aye, bullock naked, I was sleepmarking. Aye, because a regular hanger? No, no, never done it before. Is that right? And I woke up in the morning and I thought I must have fallen asleep on the sofa. Because I mean Lisa kind of speaking to my and telling me to get my bed, and I was like incoherent, I was trying to speak. So that's the first time it's ever happened. Like weird. Go to your bed.
SPEAKER_08I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_05You doing, you're doing why about it.
SPEAKER_09Shit ain't sorry.
SPEAKER_06Shambles. I don't get what I was doing. No, I can't weird.
SPEAKER_01Weird. Trying to think of other shape you're speaking about in the pop because it was just a knots majority of the time.
SPEAKER_10It's fucking funny, like once the drinks were gone. Oh no, I was finished in the bar. Oh what a sex conversations.
SPEAKER_01Then I left there and went to the Legion and then cut a drinks there, and it was him quarter to twelve. Fair day again. Kind of Sunday morning I felt better than if I didn't die.
SPEAKER_06I felt as though I'm in a minute. Weird.
SPEAKER_10I kinda'd been I can't I was just wasn't uh that hungover, kinda was able to de-stuff getting the end of the day. So I felt fine in the Sunday, like it's weird. So Saturday was like an all-day Sunday swally back in the day, but on a inner Saturday.
SPEAKER_08It was not busy, was it? TSP. I was a few folk in the Legion, like Legion was full of young crew, was it? We're not drinking Bicardi.
SPEAKER_06Boy comes up, I was getting the young crew a bit of a hard time for Bicardi Breezers. I looked half pint. Half pint. I said, you you can't have a fucking saying netting sunshine. Honestly.
SPEAKER_10Youngsters nowadays.
SPEAKER_01So for you do Saturday afternoon, we go back with the kids.
SPEAKER_02Uh I'd go get back and get the kids, and then I had to just shoot over girls to get a freeze a fridge because my fridge is fucked. Oh aye. Then I had to take my daughter to sleep over.
SPEAKER_10They go round the corner now for a fridge. Costco. Costco's round the corner.
SPEAKER_02Over and then just me and Lenny just had a chipper chilled out, watched the telly. And Sunday, er the festival uh uh Chemney. So it was piling hate. That was the first time in a proper hate daylight, but uh it was a great day on Sunday, like he was absolutely brilliant on Sunday.
SPEAKER_10It was on a school pitch, on the grass. On the grass. Aye so next door to Astro.
SPEAKER_02Aye, next door to Astro.
SPEAKER_10Grass alight here.
SPEAKER_02It was fine, eh? It was good. Cut cut tie a few times. We're a nil-nil in four V4s when they go list. Sorry against North Star Northfield, tackles were flying in like that did him good, like because a wee light bulb moment thinking, maybe realised it. Stopped letting folk push him about and he uh maybe started believing a wee bit that he was a half decent player because he played brilliant, so I was loving it.
SPEAKER_10So if it crack when they go, it's Nibdi can handle it.
SPEAKER_02But it's just like a diamond in it, or we play for and you just we rotate positions, but it's just so there's no goalies, so like at that level, it's just Ubody gets touches and plenty of goals, skin. Yeah, I'll handle it like no, no, but there's no ref, it's just managed by the coach's skin. So if it happens if somebody does save it with a hand, well, you just kind of go play on aye because it's maybe just for getting goals in it, shit, just to give the burns.
SPEAKER_06So you can't handle it in. You're not supposed to like if it was there's no offsides, there's no throw ins, there's no kick-ins, there's no it's about kids touching the bar.
SPEAKER_10Touching the bar, and they love scoring goals, so like So if it would get if it somebody handled it, would you say, Johnny, handle it, you're not do you but then I really get a penalty or just get it. Yes, send them up. No, no, no. Deliberate handbaff.
SPEAKER_02You just have a gig. The North Star team like just volleyed one of our boys. You gave him their due, like they were flying into tackles, but the boy just pulled the boy straight off. We could order. You can't ask for an emergency. I just took him clean off, but Lenny's face was as read as his beats. That's the hardest I've seen him work. So games is it? Eight minutes.
SPEAKER_01Eight minutes.
SPEAKER_02They come in the sixth game and punks were empty. Aye, not both teams.
SPEAKER_10That's no better energy about anger, Ken. If somebody kicks you, you fucking kick me.
SPEAKER_02You see a couple of burns, like it's a couple in your team and they start gritting the teeth again once they've been kicked.
SPEAKER_10Anger has a great energy if you funnel it in the right uh right way. It's different if you go and get sent off, but Ken, if you can funnel it, it's definitely a good, it's a good motivator.
SPEAKER_02And then obviously Monday was a school run, when it you got a clue if it's needed for the school run. Yeah, Ken for Fit of Burns needing that. Yeah, just walk for your door you're getting I and fit the fit bag they need, do they need a reading stuff? Do you need a park launch? Yeah, and then that was going to school, then picked up after school, and then picked up Lenny and back to the car and I'm going, I'll done a minute first, Morgan. Next thing I'm out of the car, running across the car park, and the mother's laughing, going, No, you forgot your daughter, have you? And then before that, I gets a phone call for Kirsten Monday morning and goes, You see that text? I'm like, No, no, I'm working, picks up my phone, text for school. Morgan's near registered for school today. I'm like, she and she's giving it, and she's thinking, I'm a wife for four days. And then so I'm like straight on the phone to school going, no answer. By this point, I'm raging. And me and Morgan had a wee spat about what she was wearing the first week door, and I thought she'd dip the fucking school. I'm up in the car, straight up. What's happening? I said, Is my burn here? Obviously, not quite as aggressively. And like, oh, she's about to check and then come back. Oh, she is here. They messed up a register, and I goes, Well, you maybe better phone my wife in Portugal and tell her that get the burns out of school.
SPEAKER_05Get my fook and deep shit.
SPEAKER_02So then Monday night they start training and picked her up, so all's well in the world again.
SPEAKER_07Well, that just happens if you go to Portugal.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there's heaps of folks and anybody goes into the airport now, do they? Yeah. So heaps of folks sitting each side of coppers now do the laps, eh? They're moving abdi on, eh? Assholes. Aye. Is it new? Six quid, is it? Or I think it's eight, I think. Eight quid, I thought I thought it was to get eight. I just kept driving room and ruined. No, I quite stayed until she come out. If it was occasion in Portugal, like just like she's pretty much in the head of the off since she started her new gig, like so. It's like that's gonna go because I'm gonna Miami, am I?
SPEAKER_10So you got a friggin' loss hair so you just go to a pint like a rest of his dude. So yeah, that was me. Oh you never she ain't gone to Miami. I thought you was gone with the wife. No.
SPEAKER_02No, it's just me and Scotty and then Drollo and his boss.
SPEAKER_01How long you were for?
SPEAKER_02Just age for my how long you were for?
SPEAKER_01Five days. Oh but you're cell master's up then Sunday.
SPEAKER_10Sunday, uh never, nothing worth speaking about to be honest. Just uh swimming usual, sort of the van, because we just threw a hand in the van and then you're panicking about what a hen is.
SPEAKER_02Because honestly, at that point, you couldn't mind nothing for that point tonight.
SPEAKER_10Like fuck, uh just horse not hanging about my van. Aye, so I tried to do my van, got a hand organised, got all the banners wrapped up and taped up. Er sort of do all the poles. We've got a better wife ID in this next year. Well, we used two poles, but you can actually use one pole and cable tight to further yardages are can they? It's better. The thingy because it was we were two poles short, and we go, we got a day and a light bulb moment, and wonder if that'll work. Ah, it ain't gonna work. And then we went up, Kenneth! Work's a fucking treat, huh?
SPEAKER_06And then we had three poles for the big banners, and it's like, yes.
SPEAKER_10Three poles, aye, so it's fucking a little bit more. So a lot of things are every year.
SPEAKER_05We uh we something we improved. Aye, definitely.
SPEAKER_10Uh save us a bit of work next year. Aye. Uh so sorted that out and uh watched the so doing watch the uh the English games coming, so I watched the Spurs game because uh that's probably the most important team, isn't it? It was not a great game to be honest. It's alright. I was I actually flicked between them and uh the West Hart West Ham Leeds. I thought Everton, poor show for nice, they weren't. I suppose the fuck I'll play for and they played like it, Ken. They weren't there was no urgency about them or what you said to him.
SPEAKER_01I think that's what I was thinking.
SPEAKER_02I can't and then with that delay with the radio and uh with the refs radio and that which gave it an eight minute delay, so it almost put the uh the end of the drama because they can't that's that game finished. I just need to see you out.
SPEAKER_10It's a bit uh climax, wasn't it? Well me and Shed did speak about I wonder if Moyes but I think we both agreed that Net was out to I try to win, dude. Once you start for anything, whenever he says you you want to win. Moyles Moyes the type of guy you'd get to fire your heart if you're you're happy losing. But I wasn't an urgency about Ken Ken.
SPEAKER_06Getting men in the hint of them, it was an end of season game, wasn't it? For everyone.
SPEAKER_10If I was a West Ham fan and went back and watched the game, I'd be pissed off with Everton. Alright. For the they're better and for the show. But at the end of the day, it's West Ham's, it's on West Ham, you didn't get enough points. So yeah, so I watched that, I had a pizza for the fucking Milanos because when we was out in uh Saturday night Elaine come in with pizza and chips again. Pizza was amazing. I had a few pizza. I'm gonna bear some Sunday adds for them here and my supper. That tastes quite as fine. Still good, like uh but see if you're drawing your bow drama a few drinks, a hoora drink and you and you and you're hungry, uh fucking taste up. I think it's amazing But I was still fine, it was good. And then I could just chill to at night, watch the World Series of poker or 2009 addicted to that anyway, so I'd sat on watching.
SPEAKER_08So they bite guitar at the weekend.
SPEAKER_10It's been fucking amazing weather for it, and I know. I would have liked I'll go yesterday, but my fucking teeth were killing my dentist, was off my work and nothing yesterday.
SPEAKER_06So I thought you were off your work and I thought you didn't speak about getting a holding like.
SPEAKER_10I needed to get an appointment with a dentist, like two to six months, back, right, uh bottom, top. Uh top. Oh one of the moulders, I think. Aye. Aye, so we fill in, but I can't if it's helped or no, it's still Sierre. But it's maybe search for the work kind of skin, you get an after. You get an after for a while, yeah. Aye, so we'll see if it like so I had a day off you still need a holiday like a weekend.
SPEAKER_06Up in the morning. Took a walkie doing the Murder Collins for sausage and bacon bop. At least I had a she'd a meal. At least I had a she'd a harsh brown black pudding and a fried egg. So that was mid-morning ish. Um had a cup of tea and then went out and sat in the hammocks and listened to a bit of music and just sat in a news and just fell asleep. I fucking with the heat of the sun and fucking fine it was.
SPEAKER_10I I went root the sheds to dump off like some uh stuff that was Marshama and all that. So hoping to get and he just came off a hammock again. I didn't have I was hoping I'd caught him again for why just to see his technique for lying.
SPEAKER_07But it is it is jeans and it's fucking warm. Oh no, no, no. I did well, I wasn't a hammock like shorts and a vest.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, but when I was lying there at four, it wasn't it was just perfect with the jeans and the jumper on. But by the time I'd got off, I was sweating.
SPEAKER_10Just did it. It can't, you'd kind of just come off of it, but he didn't look like he'd just come off and came at me. It was fine, it was fine, yeah.
SPEAKER_06And then just dosed a boot mess today, and then uh Puckle Joby's running about house and then skippers for supper. Skippers and chicken fillets and chaps. Oh aye. Chicken fillets and chaps.
SPEAKER_10That's a fair feed, is it? Uh it was good though.
SPEAKER_06And the chicken fillets were just right out of the fryer because I fucking roast and hate it. I at least I said it was whoa busy like er well. I watched uh Mon United, I watched I started watching the West Ham game and it was a shit affair. Spars I couldn't be faced, watch them because they were won a lot, and I thought, nah, no, what's not so watched the Hale United game. Good, United were good. Which is surprising for Brighton because they they were pushing for a pushing for you being slaughtered. They were poor.
SPEAKER_10They were poor. Brighton's a bit of a bogey team for United, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Normally so um I was fine and then didn't need a hang in the evening.
SPEAKER_10Or is that FA writers? Fit by writers. I think it was I near the many, isn't it? I was near the PFA. I'd like you to get aye well, you think I think I like a gate to Arsenal, probably usually I'd team at Winseley.
SPEAKER_06Fuck, I was near a good Arsenal player play. Nay player of year standard. They were obviously the best team, but I wasn't an outstanding player in that team.
SPEAKER_10Nah, for the whole season. As much as I dislike him, Baith think Rice and Rhea were pretty good.
SPEAKER_05Centre halves, centre halves were good in a gold, they go all the time.
SPEAKER_10Sleeba was injured for ages, wasn't he? He was a Gabriel soldier. That's the best partnership in the league by a mile.
SPEAKER_01Only two decent centre halves in the Premier League guy, partnership wise.
SPEAKER_10Or no Man City. Aye, if I was the boy, the young boy, the playoffs. I'd two old coming.
SPEAKER_06So it was uh Sunday night, didn't it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I was the same Sunday, I got up and um I lay nipped out to JP snatch out and got a big and negro.
SPEAKER_06I was here on Thursday for my dinner.
SPEAKER_01Ah fine. And then just sorted out well, I eventually sort of do stuff in my book in my car because obviously I eat my raffles and hands right now. So sorted out all that stuff and I had to put stickers back on Monday, so try to do my car so I could put all that back. Um went doing the den with a dog, went doing the den for a walk, which was fine. Um just chilled for a while. I had a chipper and a half. So me and Elaine had uh I had a mince pie supper. Elaine had a macaroni pie supper. We cut the pies in half and we had a jumbo sausage, so I had a half macaroni pie, half mince pie, and uh half jumbo sausage and a portion of onion rings. That was so good. It's embarrassing, isn't it?
SPEAKER_06Fucking pie for your chipper.
SPEAKER_01And we put it on a plate. Nice gotta be a paper.
SPEAKER_06Oh. Honestly.
SPEAKER_01It's fantastic. Er then erm I watched the Formula One. Oh, I watched that as well.
SPEAKER_02What a pile of shit.
SPEAKER_01That was a great race, I thought. Mike, it's it's our garbage, isn't it?
SPEAKER_02It's just near race, isn't it?
SPEAKER_01Oh well fucking uh overtaking overtaking and plenty of battling, like uh. They're not driving yet, they're just steering it. Nah, it's still still his skill, the D fit they were D and like still good racing.
SPEAKER_06Still good racing, I enjoyed it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's probably any of the better races. So watched that. Was it I think time the thing was about. I watched it like boxing.
SPEAKER_10What did you think?
SPEAKER_09He was getting beat.
SPEAKER_02Out and out getting sick and kickboxer. I think the boy showed up, showed a why to beat him, go at him, and then close the distance and then just lean on him and he could he couldn't again get him off. Some size of boys.
SPEAKER_10Huge muscle. He was like a bodybuilder boy, wasn't he?
SPEAKER_02He would have got knocked out, he would have got knocked out in the twelfth, because he was gone.
SPEAKER_10Aye, he was gone, legs had gone.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_10Because he couldn't early Abdi Sin is earlier again. I think he saved him a bit. That's what I'm saying, because only was that cla ten second claxon had gone, so he stopped it in that time. But I think I can think about it.
SPEAKER_02He had five clean hits at him, uh size of boys, yeah. One hat of off of being I think he'd teen him too late.
SPEAKER_10I think he did because he looked like he'd a wee bit of flesh on him, like mere so and often mere so he didn't look as in good shape as he's done. So I thought he thought he'd just tuck his heat off, but the boy did to say the scorecards were all level.
SPEAKER_02It's ridiculous.
SPEAKER_10I think it was that far apart.
SPEAKER_02Like I think a boy was winning, like but with the knockdown, and if he'd won it last, I like I liked his ring walk just stunning there, then he just sort of sprinted into the ring. Aye. He's scored quite well, yeah. He's been training with Peter Fury as a boxer for 12 years or something. Aye. Again, just solid as out and out boxing, but he's been training boxing wise for 12 years. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01Boxing's more corrupt than SFA, isn't it? Off a nah.
SPEAKER_02Nah, he's more corrupt than SFA.
SPEAKER_01Did SFA put out a statement this week? Aye.
SPEAKER_06Aye, basically saying they've got the cost arts league. Cost arts of the league, basically.
SPEAKER_01How can they admit it?
SPEAKER_02They're better off saying that, wouldn't they? Aye.
SPEAKER_06What's the point coming out?
SPEAKER_02Because it just causes mere or she does it.
SPEAKER_06It does, it just causes mere fucking corruption, fucking vibes.
SPEAKER_10Plus the refs must be going fucking hell. It's a fucking crack like the blame. Beating the room, so you gotta blame them ah we're gonna hate when they're sitting there gun, we're gonna hate to say something. They're not at fault. I just think beating was put in an impossible position.
SPEAKER_02Aye, because they was side with him, so when he's been pulled over.
SPEAKER_10And how the pressure it's on him, brother beating and all this. If he he'd waved that away after being called over, I think they shouldn't have been caught him over in the first place. No, no, no, no, you're right. That's why Dad blamed beating though. Steel balls to go, no, no, for ham especially. So we've been through this with the Celtic thing. Can easily go parking.
SPEAKER_01Well, they won the Scotch Cup at the weekend convincingly. Well, I'd say we watch it. No, no, nobody's cares. No, walk over when I thought the game might have been called off because there was a um Celtic fan in the park. Neil Lennon. Fit was that a bit.
SPEAKER_02We O'Neil. Fuck what's it? I'm naying that. Honestly, that fuck. Nobody's interested in it. Fit we O'Neal if it happened. So he he took a hot o'Neil's arm and went to Celtic vans and held his arm up. Lennon did like he was still a Celtic fan.
SPEAKER_06After they got fucking pumped in the final.
SPEAKER_02Aye.
unknownAye.
SPEAKER_10That's what's that's what's wrong with Scottish football, isn't it? Really, Ken.
SPEAKER_02I manager the firm, but really I'm still a Celtic man.
SPEAKER_06Ah, exactly. So Celtic was I was getting win, because Lennon would have let him win. Well it wasn't true. Nobody can argue off.
SPEAKER_01In fact about er the the hail er O'Neal on a word on if O'Neal's got a buried or something. He's not thinking it.
SPEAKER_02I think he might, you can.
SPEAKER_05Nah.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_06Nah.
SPEAKER_02Taking too much of him.
SPEAKER_06Nah, 74 year old.
SPEAKER_02I think it you can't do much Melanie Didier and winning in the last game of season, just walk away at that.
SPEAKER_06Well, if he can do our like fucking fit of hour many games, he'll fucking walk a fucking season.
SPEAKER_01But um obviously spoke about it last week. We mentioned the motherwell manager and first sniff of our job. He couldn't go here quick enough good teachers.
SPEAKER_10I like that joke. If you wanted to lose, he could have gone to Rangers.
SPEAKER_01Um I'm surprised he's just he went as quick as that.
SPEAKER_06Like again, but I'm surprised like a Celtic wasn't a sniffing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, because it shows that they officer weren't even looking at him. No, okay, which I find bizarre.
SPEAKER_01But that'll be that'll be will that be next season Motherwell further down Halloween?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it'll be interesting. Keep on them boys if they keep on any of the boys because they've got some good players here. It could go for some decent money, I think.
SPEAKER_10I'm surprised Selig were then that boot him up.
SPEAKER_06I know.
SPEAKER_08Very surprised to be honest. I'm just trying to think of fire so they would he lined up.
SPEAKER_02Well Robbie Keene, Robbie Keane's quit Ferenc Faro, isn't he?
SPEAKER_08So I think he's quite I'd be happy with that.
SPEAKER_10I think that's a big too big a job for him, maybe.
SPEAKER_02The fact that he's resigned or quit the job makes me think he's coming to Selig.
SPEAKER_01Whether they was rumoured of him or uh Bellamy. Oh Wales manager Wells.
SPEAKER_02He'd be a right hate figure in the dugout, wouldn't he?
SPEAKER_06Either, or I just think again it's I'm a first fellow gate, I couldn't care.
SPEAKER_01No see uh Alexa Rangers getting a business done early doors and obviously signed Shanklin today. Um signing for him?
SPEAKER_10No, no, I'm his own. He's obviously a Rangers fan.
SPEAKER_06It's a good signing for it's a good sign for Shanklin, but Rangers, if you're selling are you worried about that signing?
SPEAKER_02I would be best striker in the country.
SPEAKER_01No. How much do they buy him for? Three, was it? Three. So that's the thing.
SPEAKER_06He's a strange thing in his own.
SPEAKER_02So they said they start the season it was a three-year deal, but it was actually a one-year deal with a two-year extent option. So basically it sounds like you've been huckled saying, look, uh come in at end of the season, make sure your contract is joking aside.
SPEAKER_06I think I think it is a good signing for Rangers, but um be interesting.
SPEAKER_01And Rangers get the cash for him at the World Cup.
SPEAKER_02They do, like one a thousand.
SPEAKER_10I just think it shows you how tough it is for other clubs, because like that's the heart, heart to neat team. So you know, even if it's a shit, he doesn't idea business at Rangers, you've teen them all off at halfway.
SPEAKER_06Well, that's that's what Silicon Rangers have been accused for it for years. For years, they just weakened the weakened the opposition to the best players for the best players.
SPEAKER_02Leonard back to his club, but he's out for a year again, and then Hulkett's out for a year, Devlin's leaving, Shunklin's gone. So here's half of the outfield players decimated, yeah, try and find the replacements of that quality.
SPEAKER_01But Ketzlawa, the boy McGigmy.
SPEAKER_02Oh benigmy, is he? He's a Gawa as well. Is he? Uh huh. Oh well there you go. So decimate.
SPEAKER_01That's five stars. Somebody's in Braga. Uh Bright Braga's supposed to get into Brighton, maybe. There you go. So that's there you go. That's six relative.
SPEAKER_10You'd be pissed off if we went to Brighton because that means that boy's in the monk kind of boy owner, but it's happening, isn't it? But then you hear like Bloom, he's stuck in corruption.
SPEAKER_01Then you're but they might get some players for Brighton. Yeah.
unknownI can't.
SPEAKER_06And as a player, you're not you're not getting a knockout.
SPEAKER_02Because you've only got ten years, mark your money.
SPEAKER_10Deep deep down, Shanklin Kent, if uh we don't win it this year, then we're not gonna win it next year. So I'm off. I'm off. I've got better chances of winning it at range. Big gold there from a side out there.
SPEAKER_01It's like the the strategy the old firm I mean can be teamed back to hunt back in.
SPEAKER_06Get a dinner receipt.
SPEAKER_01But we mentioned like a four that the the old farm can maybe kind of oh I want spent eight, nine million pounds or ten million pounds and get actually a brilliant player in. So they're maybe looking at players in the SPL that it's kind of got deflate the other teams and alleviate them as well.
SPEAKER_06Well I'd be screaming out for a goal scorer. You could argue if Sean Clun was in Rangers team S year, he might have been closer.
SPEAKER_10Right. I still think the fucking back fours have been. As good as Fernandez is Benny's still a bomb scare. Kenny's fucking he looks good on the bar and but just isn't uh he didn't.
SPEAKER_09He's valuing what up like twice a season or something like that. His values double twice.
SPEAKER_01I think if we got good money for him, I would sell him and try to build a just give him four hammer throwers, get somebody for fucking Aloha and Huntley and a mess about you had a boy Leon King, he was a one loan last season, he's back, but I think I was word of him got hearts. Leon King.
SPEAKER_02Um I see hearts are looking at Calvin Mirrell and Miller and uh the boy striker for Falkirk and uh Rangers certainly need to stiffen up at the back.
SPEAKER_06Did you keep your goalie?
SPEAKER_10Aye probably. And again, he's not been great as well. I think if he had a better back four in front of him, it would help me. But uh I've signed the boy Day and I said Boy Faye. Used to play for Sunderland.
SPEAKER_01Darrender Day. No, he's retired.
SPEAKER_10He's a young boy, supposed to be pretty good, like I think it's he's another I think they're trying to go like mere of a British spine about him, Ken.
SPEAKER_09So I was gonna be club captain, two calves away, isn't he?
SPEAKER_10Fuck you never know, Shanklin might get really uh Raskin, maybe uh even Butland. Fernandez a few candidates absolutely.
SPEAKER_06For do we think Celtic needs his strengthening?
SPEAKER_09Well, definitely need a striker. Striker 100%.
SPEAKER_06Definitely need a striker.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then also McGregor potentially got a Saudi inner so joining Brendan.
SPEAKER_06Alright, okay. So for Brenda is, is it?
SPEAKER_10I think obviously as his time's almost there, so I probably have to start thinking about moving on for McGregor. Yeah. He'll be a big man. It's hard because even now you still a class player. Hard beat the team, is he? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Ah and goes through him.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01James Forrest can't really be much here longer at Celtics, so no.
SPEAKER_06I think you're losing Boysley Cut. I've been at a club for so long.
SPEAKER_10So long, I they're hard to replace.
SPEAKER_01Just be interesting to see if I get to get for manager. Oh, yeah, they'd have to get a manager first, I suppose. You'd think they would get it done very soon because the World Cup's get a half ending, they want to get players. You'll done Doncaster. He's had a Dier, no, I so in the back room.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, John Kennedy maker.
SPEAKER_01Um St. Mirren were safe last night. Nancy back. I bring him back. I know.
unknownSt.
SPEAKER_01Mirren safe FC. Safe.
SPEAKER_06I'm glad St Miran made up because I d at Park Thistle. Look how shit that grun is. There's only three sides, is there? Only three sides and half the other side's just it's weird, isn't it? You ever been to Park Thistle's Grun?
SPEAKER_01Aye. Was you F a 2-2? I was there for uh three buses. Stephen Wright halfway line.
SPEAKER_02It was 28, 30, 20 years ago. Is it not?
SPEAKER_10Everly 90s, wasn't it? So it's like Jesus. It's uh it's come back. That blue and blue strip, it was an A-Fab, and it had that like confetti kind of decoration. Yelland reading North Sound and Arts, right?
SPEAKER_07But then you look back at team, see you look at it and you think fucking hell, that's a decent team, man. Yeah, like man for man.
SPEAKER_02Davy Robertson, Stephen Wright, Gary Smith, Ingalls, John Ingalls, Jim Bett, Billy Dodge, Billy Dodge, Stephen Glash, Shearer, Jim Bett was a good player. Hard as nails, apparently. Like I got really mine at, but like all our boys at my work said hard as nails, Jim Bett.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, Jim Bett, fucking right. He was a good player. Technically good, like he was a ranger, isn't it?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, Stephen Glass just didn't mind him at Rangers. Stephen Glass turned him 50. I was like, fuck.
SPEAKER_10Scott Booth and what's it got? Ian Jess.
SPEAKER_06Keith Gillespie. Who's if I was the boy who played for Aberdeen again?
SPEAKER_01Keith Wright. No, I was Hip.
SPEAKER_10Definitely was like Keith McGillsky. Keith Gillespie. That's how it fucking Lambdam.
SPEAKER_01Watson. I can't mean but another Aberdeen player left this week as well, Graeme Shane. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_02Surprised. No, I'm not surprised he's left, but I just mean if they've offered him a two year plus an avenue into coaching.
SPEAKER_01Maybe he doesn't want to go into coaching though.
SPEAKER_02Well.
SPEAKER_01He's went to Cali, is he? Carly.
SPEAKER_02Kenny's obviously his farmless in there, and so I think that'll be a big part of it. It's a good sign up for Cali.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, especially with them just gone into the championship this season.
SPEAKER_10Well, have we seen this thing in this press is saying it's one of the best skippers he's ever worked, we Robinson?
SPEAKER_02But I kind of like the fact he's stuck to his guns, because he's not powered to like fan pressure and just went, Well, I've told you there's a place for you, but you're not going to play every week. He obviously doesn't want that. But I just I just think can even though you're drapping doing a level, you've still got the same problem in the championship because it's a runner's game. Can you car run? Can he still a fit lad, but in terms of like you know, doing a level, so aye, yeah. But at the same time, he obviously just wants to play, does he? So you've got to respect that. He's had a good career to Don't modern times a legend for me, like just gave us all for Everding.
SPEAKER_10One of the few boys recently fired thing.
SPEAKER_02You can't question his integrity or his commitment.
SPEAKER_10I think it's like you say he'll be pretty good look back upon won a Scottish Cup, obviously, cup. Carly and Aberdeen's a pretty good he's up he's fair strike.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, great video, isn't it?
SPEAKER_01I have a good video on the on the socials behind leaving like so Aberdeen is off shift to get in boys to see button.
SPEAKER_02I know like every the every year they've got a rebuild, but they've got a huge boys. We need about 80% of our squad. Oh truckload of it. Absolutely unbelievable. Aye, and Robinson's kind of been quite clear already that there's ne coin.
SPEAKER_06Aye, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well European money is never hard. And obviously far the finishing league is basically sweeties fit that I got for finishing ninth or tenth.
SPEAKER_01And um they're speaking about loaning out 21 youngsters as well, for the like the youth team. It's a key part, just play them.
SPEAKER_02Aye, 21 players. Yeah, but there's n 18s now, that's why. I suppose they've been to 18, so as soon as they've done that, they just go and splinter them after Highland League and second division three division. Aye. Russell's lean, he was at Elgin. He played every game.
SPEAKER_01I did I so he's gonna see he's gotten a new contract. It'd be interesting to see if the players that were out and loan last season and actually getting to the first team squad. As Robinson said, they've been offering a contract, so it's up to them.
SPEAKER_06Well, yeah. Babbage Bavage will be back.
SPEAKER_10I think a couple of seasons in League One or two, and uh kind of starting amongst the hit men. If you're 18, 19 year old playing in there, and you've a couple, two, three seasons, and catch a good sign that you've probably got a good chance. Like tuck him back and he's a man, then you you'd hope then his ability tacks him on the next level. Like that's a hell idea, isn't it? So approval being a boot in the game. Because if you're playing 18s, right? You're playing against the other 18-year-olds, you're not improving. Then you're trying to get you're still trying to mark him and jump into the physicality and I know playing with men, professional men, can you dig it out for eight and spit behind?
SPEAKER_02Roscoe's loon being just turned 17 playing against other manis in the third division.
SPEAKER_10And even in the reserve days, can you get first teamers playing the reserves, but they're dropping down, they're coming back for injury, they're not they're not full throttle, are it?
SPEAKER_01I like say the Lowland League, have they got still like Celtic A B and team now that's still on him? I think the DI kind of can't exactly put a fucking Aberdeen B team in it to the Highland League. Could you? No. Well, it was muted when it was muted, but you'd gonna say it was a financial reason, man. Maybe it's uh cost you a fortune.
SPEAKER_06Just see how much it costs to run a island league team.
SPEAKER_10I'd love to see the league extended to 15. Honestly. Get 16 teams in there, eh?
SPEAKER_06Well, we've spoken about heaps of times in the pod. Just get two two leagues. Get rid of the dross, I'll the shite of the day.
SPEAKER_10Just ah boot as old farm game fixture, only getting twice. You get him four times, but you only get him twice. But I mean I I'd be sick of pandering to fucking well it's mere for the other teams, really, would it? If you're looking at it for a financial perspective, I suppose you'd never vote for it. Like that's why they'll never vote for it.
SPEAKER_01But like six six teams only get to play them three times, isn't it? With a split, was it?
SPEAKER_10If you had sixteen teams you could play Abdi twice, and then he had uh play them a third time with a split or something like that. You need to get fixtures up, don't you? Because you could or it's either at your eighteen teams, then it's doing 34 games. You lose eighteen.
SPEAKER_02There'd be a lot of doings might be. I just look at like though. Yeah, like the juniors, like we go, do you know? I know it's a lot more lovers doing in the merged other leagues and some Hura doings every Saturday in the junior scores. Aye.
SPEAKER_01I think it'd be do-ins every weekend if it was like Rangers playing Aloha or somebody like that.
SPEAKER_02No, because in a cup you can you see him like a change about performance in, but I think eventually they get a grip so they're playing them every year and they're just getting bag loads.
SPEAKER_10It's one it's one thing playing them in a cup die, but playing it at level consistently can do you like bit.
SPEAKER_01But if if if it's a case of there is like an 18 league after a few years with the the finances getting split between the teams in the league, they'll maybe improve as well.
SPEAKER_10Has it been in the past? It's been 16 teams in the past, is it? No.
SPEAKER_06I think they used to be. Definitely 12, mate. This that's split. I can't be funded to the league in fucking stupid spots. Twelve just now, is it?
SPEAKER_10Split actually worked this year.
SPEAKER_02This is the first year it's worked though.
SPEAKER_10First, first yeah, aye. And that's only because there were three teams in it. Aye. But only other year you thought, what a load of garbage, mate. And you see seventh team male point. Aye.
SPEAKER_01Fucking weird, can't waste my time. I suppose England's got the money, I suppose, to hear the the 20 teams, are they? So you the massive cities and massive clubs and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_0660 million folk make in fine. Aye. Scotland's got five or six million.
SPEAKER_02Just go back and when Jim Murray was still alive. Used to go on a bit of green final and you just look at other fixtures, Cowdenbeath against Fever, 300 folk, blah blah. And he used to say, just merge your man Mark Angus again. He would say, Look, them them and then Mark Angus, and you maybe get 3000 at a game.
SPEAKER_06Exactly, but you'll never have in the next teen hundred and eighty fans. Get rid of Dundee and Dundee United, he won Dundee team. Never happened, never happened.
SPEAKER_10Hibson Hertz and Hertz. Edinburgh City. Well, there it is. Again, never happened.
SPEAKER_01Well, well, just been a good team. Grampian? Grampian select. Bickins Owen. I know. They're never getting out of there. It's a tougher league.
SPEAKER_06Never getting out of there in a million years.
SPEAKER_01Ah, it's gonna be tough for them, like Cody now.
SPEAKER_10With the money they've spent that in.
SPEAKER_01See, fixtures have been out for the Highland League if they already seen that. Ember Gordon's first game is Brock. Bellesley. I think it's a Bellesley. It's a butt isn't a fire. I'd that game for the the terrace fixtures, I've just seen uh the Brock's fixtures, I'm sure I did see Turrace Fixers, I'll tell you. I've seen the local scenes as well, but I can't mind it. Because as much as it finishes seen and pre-season will be starting next year in the next few weeks, about yeah, I guess some of them start at six or eight or June or something.
SPEAKER_06Is it uh for the World Cup? See Craig Ewing one manager in a year rightly so. Ah, good good in ham. Great achievement. Fantastic. That's good as well, huh?
SPEAKER_02Taking out off of the bigger teams if you give him what I mean. Keith obviously finished well up, but you give it a meaning.
SPEAKER_06Keith had a right good run in the second half of the season, but uh can you think of Bra or Ken boys it right at the very top? So I well done, Craig. Yeah, very well done.
SPEAKER_01Seeing the pots for the Premier League, Premier Cup, King Don't Zarks in the finishing box. Uh pretty Bra, isn't it? They did the cup uh then. It's a bit bad though, because it's a good pre-season.
SPEAKER_02It's a good pre-season for sure, right? Because obviously everybody needed two years ago when they're a good run in Harts last year.
SPEAKER_06Ah, yeah. It's a good pre-season because it's proper competitive games.
SPEAKER_01Well, Arsenal won the league. Um, we say points down a line like um Teta, Jink um if they win the Champions League at a weekend, he'll be statute side them and it's her hand.
SPEAKER_10That's a mate up there, like then I won the Champions League, so yeah. Then I win a league in 25. Is it three years? It's mental, is it? They invincibles.
SPEAKER_06It's weird how time runs a lot, isn't it?
SPEAKER_02100% like you would never have thought it was that long.
SPEAKER_10Oh man United, how long's that now?
SPEAKER_0214 years.
SPEAKER_10I fucking won it near every year.
SPEAKER_06It was wild because Liverpool had the first thing. Liverpool won up, it was 30 years since they opened it. Can't I mean it's mental? So after does he get a statue?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_06Well you couldn't argue against it. Yeah, massive accused. You couldn't argue against it, could you? No, I don't think you couldn't.
SPEAKER_10He's always like he's can got him back on top of the English fit back after an absence which is big, and they stuck by him and now, which is a good kind of didn't uh kind of a lot of folk were calling for him against Sar every year, I mean uh so he's done it, and then if he was to go and top half a Champions League, that would be something Venga couldn't do again. Chances that can have statues that he's got a heavy got a little bit of longevity.
SPEAKER_06A few uh leagues under his belt for that, I would say.
SPEAKER_015050.
SPEAKER_10I fancy him. I think they're a perfect perfect antithesis around PSG again. I think they'll plug plug out of the holes and hit him. I think uh Saka coming back to farm, he'll hurt him.
SPEAKER_06So he wanna hurt him, and there's no English refs or English var PSG. PSG just like it is just two best fullbacks in the in the world they've got Hakimi and a boy Nuno Mendes, boy in Midley Park, two boys in Middle Park, Joe Nevis, and I mean I I genuinely I but I do believe it genuinely they'll plug a gaps for sure. Genuinely think it is a 50-50 because I I like I always say you never can in a final, it is just eleven against eleven at the end of the day, and you see upsets in finals at a time. Would I be all upset if Arsenal went at a death? I think so.
SPEAKER_10We'd be an upset. I think PSG are favourites, but it wouldn't be a massive upset.
SPEAKER_02I mean but I've got a feeling I won null them scoring for a set play either. PSG for as good as you are, I think defensively they're amazing, and that's for Arsenal are amazing.
SPEAKER_10Bayern made them look amazing because Bayern just fell played exactly how PSG wanted. Aye, they they opened up PSG, that's PSG's game, innit? Quick expansive, but I think they're up against the best defence in Europe. Yeah, so they'll hate it probably shut up, shut up. I don't think they can be his gung-ho.
SPEAKER_06Sure. I think Arsenal's got enough firepower to power him.
SPEAKER_02You've got that in Dewey on the right hand side, got Veriscaly over me, best winger in the world. He's one of the best players in the world, isn't he?
SPEAKER_10Ah, they've got a good team to debut, but I think Arsenal's gonna win. Aye, right? Might be a set piece, French impressive piece.
SPEAKER_06Go and get a Marseille guarantee, would you?
SPEAKER_08I would not go as far as that. But it wouldn't be as exciting a game as PSG by not I don't think it'll be boring, I think it'll be entertaining.
SPEAKER_10Tactically it'll probably be good to watch. Well be a good tactical ball, two different styles can I think I'm gonna watch it now. Can PSG put up with Arsenal at set pieces again? The the brave centre back, suppose Narquinhos.
SPEAKER_06I'm just saying, I don't think they'll get a while with the rubbish to get a while with the Premier League.
SPEAKER_10Aye with English for the Henna scored a lot of set pieces in Europe, no well they they I did say before they got a big decision against if I was at West Ham. Yeah I could see a decision go against them in the Champions League because again, just the way things work. And then they'll agree about it, then they'll you could you fucking agree too much about it. You got a good in against West Ham and after I was saying it how hard a job it was now after getting a decision to see if he sees the same, if a decision goes against him uh well hopefully a better game to watch for Pep away. Pep says away, huh? See his speeches and they're fucking good kind of bit the working class and work working hard, and I like that that speel I could see why he gets players playing for him.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, his dad was there 95. 95, you're all his old mum was in the stand.
SPEAKER_02Fit a player. As fit as a food.
SPEAKER_01Is that uh far as I put mine city gene for them?
SPEAKER_10If it's Mareska, mid-table.
SPEAKER_02Aye call it go abdi.
SPEAKER_10Is it Maresca like that?
SPEAKER_06Aye I I I think they'll aye just like Ona Hank from that era comes to an end. It's a difficult look at United. I can United one quite well run behind the scenes, but you look at United from Fergy left and they've never recaptured that, can I mean so?
SPEAKER_10Ah, it's gonna be very, very difficult for him. I'm sure the fans are all like prepared for it.
SPEAKER_02Six titles in ten years.
SPEAKER_10Aye, I know it's mental.
SPEAKER_02Did cheat quite a bit in it, mate. Is that why he's going in it? Ah, it is.
SPEAKER_01Charges are working out. Still living boys in the park at one of games. I but they've got a living boys fraudulently, that's a problem.
SPEAKER_10I think he'll be definitely getting a statue. 100%. He's probably the biggest person to work through at a place like again, it's a good timing, isn't it? Would you have teen that job 30 years ago? Yeah. If it were the same club, we wouldn't have got him with though. No, that's the thing. But obviously it's a bit like a Formula One thing, the best drivers get the best cars.
SPEAKER_06Best players along with the best teams.
SPEAKER_10There's no doubt that he's definitely the only that you can uh put up there with Fergie on it.
SPEAKER_01I suppose the difference for Fergie is that. Fergie done son, we're a small little club in Scotland, then went went down to England to try and build some, but Pep came in, we money and we went in. Exactly. Exactly. So um because there's obviously a lot of arguments. Is he the greatest Pep?
SPEAKER_02I think Glen Glenn was saying to me that he'd seen some in for it said that Fergie's the best manager in the world that what there's been, and then he's the best coach there's ever been. And I think that Stan's meant 'cause Pep's a coach and he Fergie was a manager.
SPEAKER_10I think Pep's maybe a bit of bae, to be honest.
SPEAKER_02Again, he's a lot on the training run and how he wants a team to play, whereas up again that Fergie didn't do any. And he's left it to his coaches. And I could probably live me up and quote it again.
SPEAKER_06Fergie for me every day of the week. You didn't have the away everybody and won a European European Cup winners cup. Last team to beat Real Madrid in a European Cup final.
SPEAKER_10Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Provincial club in the northeast of Scotland.
SPEAKER_10That's what separates you. I think that's the big thing for Fergie's got.
SPEAKER_06And then he went down to England for United were fucking mid-table, just hovering about between mid and low table. Then Tuckman and Markham was super powered and world fitter.
SPEAKER_10And built three or four teams. Three or four teams.
SPEAKER_06That class is a good thing. The argument is against Fergie, maybe you should have done Mare.
SPEAKER_02Aye. I think that's a fair argument.
SPEAKER_06That's maybe one of the arguments you could point towards that you should have won more European stuff.
SPEAKER_02Fergie. The players and teams you had.
SPEAKER_06But then he won a UEFA Cup, he won his the Champions League twice, he won a Cup Winners Cup, he won a super cup.
SPEAKER_02Even that debate fares into Pepina, because it was him that came along and wiped the floor with him a couple of times in the final.
SPEAKER_06Well, that was that. Then he inherited a unbelievable Barcelona team, did he?
SPEAKER_01It was it was erm Ferguson, the mastermind behind the hair class in '82, they got youngsters coming through.
SPEAKER_06Well, that's that's he built the deverdeen as well.
SPEAKER_01Uh same time.
SPEAKER_10Batter luck involved. But he gave him a chance. He was brave enough for Abdi and all the same for ED and did he sell Hughes and Ints and a few big players and trusted five youngsters to go and win a league.
SPEAKER_06But then I it's I think I was his it's been his strength through his football career, Fergie Kent Funn to get rid of boys.
SPEAKER_10Aye, definitely.
SPEAKER_06Kent Farn that sell by date was just up, they were just there to get why are you selling him?
SPEAKER_01Well, you'll see next season why you sold him, can I mean he has obviously had some fucking garbage sign-ins as well.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that's no question about foot manager, isn't it, Mike?
SPEAKER_10Nobody's got a hundred percent record with signs. No, I think uh Pep's changed, totally changed the English game. I'm the sure Fergie had that influence.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think it changed why nearly every team's played. I bet every level of Fitma. I think neither made it worse.
SPEAKER_06It's made Fitma worse.
SPEAKER_02That's not his fault. Well it is because he's managed to deep with his teams and win stuff worse.
SPEAKER_06Fitma. State of Fitma.
SPEAKER_01That's coaching, does it?
SPEAKER_10That's coaching, uh I think uh if it was at the if somebody tries to replicate the iPhone and does Mark's a nurse, it's no Steve Jobs' fault. The iPhone's still a good phone. Yeah. Just because folk have tried to replicate and make a shit at a job, but it doesn't matter because Steve Jobs crap at his job. But I d I'm not particularly a massive fan of Fitzdin the game. I still hate seeing goalies play to centre halves in ridiculous. I think we've been over this a million times and conceding ridiculous goals.
SPEAKER_06I never want to go and watch Fitball and see my centre half the animation touches a fucking Fitball.
SPEAKER_02I'll never buy it, but then he really just did it because he had Ederson if I was like a centre midfielder.
SPEAKER_06Oh he could play outfield seemingly That's why he's a goalie.
SPEAKER_10Can't I play Outfield But then he it worked for him for sure. Yeah, yeah. Oh no question about and I'm not sure he just made up that fact well I don't it's Dutch, it's a Dutch brand, wouldn't it?
SPEAKER_02He also said it, he also said it. He's there Norman I mean he interviews uh Kruyf started it.
SPEAKER_10Kruyf he carried on aye the Dutch started it, it was not even Kruy, I think. Kruyf yeah Kruy. He continued the Dutch tradition, I think. I'm not sure if I pioneered it. Was it near the boy? We've spoken.
SPEAKER_08I think he pioneered it, didn't he? Aye. The hell ticky-tacky stuff. Aye, I think just pepting it down you level maybe, but no.
SPEAKER_01You never know we have the game, it might change yet again. No better. Yeah, but it'll be good to see if it happens to city.
SPEAKER_06Foot happens to city and fudge pep go next, can he's he's been Spain, been a little bit more than a lot of people. I get sorry.
SPEAKER_01I think the sound I think Italy, maybe or Spain job. I think he's gonna take some time off. He's obviously his his health's number one, he was saying, so I think if it's he's struggling. So I I think they'll be taking a few years off.
SPEAKER_02A lot of big names leaving England. Robertson, Salah, Pep Spotblash. Only leaving a bit again. Leave in Liverpool, leaving their clubs. Aye. I think it'll be a week change in the league again next year.
SPEAKER_01I had a bet at the weekend, man. Somebody bet me a tenor that my name is. My name was given in the league.
SPEAKER_10Easy money.
SPEAKER_01Depends what the recruitment's like over some up. Bruno beat the assist record, though, which maybe my united. Nothing is it?
SPEAKER_10Nonsense records.
SPEAKER_01It's an assist record.
SPEAKER_02So he gets an assist for a corner of the night. It's not an assist.
SPEAKER_06It's just cross the bar, cross the bar. It's like the Bruiner with his assist record as well. Just when you look at his stats, he's fucking crossed about a hundred bars. Of course, some of them's got to go in. You play assists. You might I might pass it in and don't dunk beats four boys on a run and slots in the top corner.
SPEAKER_10So I've done it. Somebody walked into change room back in the day and said, I've had 15 assists this season. Assists, a 50 assist, really. A T.
SPEAKER_01You know what I mean? Would you get a keeper assist if he just bluters it up and it bounces your defender seed and the striker scores?
SPEAKER_06No, but we go down as an assist. It gets counted as an assist. And then the oh the it's a missed big chances created. Well, how'd you fucking define a big chance? What a heap of shite.
SPEAKER_01Aye.
SPEAKER_06Nonsense for me.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06But I will use that argument later on next season.
SPEAKER_01Don't worry. And is Bruno gonna be here next season? Aye. Aye.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. He's got a buyout clause, and he 57 million. He's staying. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Alright.
SPEAKER_10So Salah's Bruno now. Still another couple of productive years, I'm sure.
SPEAKER_06He still gets a booty park.
SPEAKER_02He's not a reliant base. He's a fit lad.
SPEAKER_06But he gets a hundred park, he's only, I think he's missed one game in injury this or two games this season in injury, Ken.
SPEAKER_10So if in your head's one thing you can't knock him for, his eye was fit. Never hide.
SPEAKER_01No. But uh another Premier League when you mentioned we mentioned Bernardo Silva, you'll be a mess to Man City, but uh Salah. Salah Wayfield Liverpool. Another great leaving the game. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Um was his time up? Gone by S season. Is that somebody slot style or something? So maybe he's just gonna at least time.
SPEAKER_10Slot has to have a good season next season. If he's another season well.
SPEAKER_01If he's another season like us, then I can't ride like they kind of go away with spending hundreds and hundreds of millions to half a million last year, maybe. So I kind of see him kind of spending stupid money unless they sell.
SPEAKER_06They need they need centre halves and they need a centre midfielder and they need fullbacks.
SPEAKER_01See Allison's signing for another year.
SPEAKER_02Z injured a lot of season.
SPEAKER_06Uh he has been the the actual boy stepped in and coming. His name is actually Bettenham, I thought.
SPEAKER_01He's been alright from his men. And another club has got to be probably losing a lot of players, West Ham eh. Being relegated. They kinda there's a reason for that, Mike. Okay, but there's still some good players at West Ham, like Jared Bowen and things like that.
SPEAKER_06Jared Bowen, I there's they're sort of half decent, actually, as well.
SPEAKER_01See Bowen, sticking with him.
SPEAKER_10Except at West Ham.
SPEAKER_01See the boy Fernandez is Linked Been Man in there, the midfielder boy.
SPEAKER_06Was he? Mm-hmm. That depends if it wages these boys and a hangar on. But they've got a partial payment for a year or two, I suppose. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Alright, but the season's finished. Maybe next week we'll look at our predictions for the SPL and the English Premier League, see how we got on for the thing. Anybody's got a winner of the week.
SPEAKER_02Bolton.
SPEAKER_01Bolton against Stockport.
SPEAKER_02That's him up to the championship for the first time in about 12 years or something.
SPEAKER_06Lots County in another promotion. Lots county in a three now. Beat Salford again.
SPEAKER_02Is that two in a row?
SPEAKER_10No. Eh. Two or three. I think they got promoted last season and then they got promoted this season. Because Archie wasn't last season. If nay season a four, that actually.
SPEAKER_06Can't mind but it was good.
SPEAKER_10Because they were defunct again. Went under, didn't they?
SPEAKER_01You know the allest clubs in England. Well they were.
SPEAKER_06One of the youngest teams, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um my win of the week is uh 13's unlucky in our golf team for the game. Oh yeah, fair play, huh? Fair play to them. Yeah, good win for them. Just Clark. Just Clark. Top blood, really fair. Yeah, good player back in the day as well. Right, uh one could a week as we can for how we're going.
SPEAKER_10Easy next week. Easy. Peter Murell.
SPEAKER_06Marcell, you're correct.
SPEAKER_10400,000 stolen for SMC for crowdfunding into the independence fund. Just it's fucking ridiculous.
SPEAKER_02And then the clip of her kidnapping about Jard we who are gone. Watch what you're saying, there's nothing wrong with the finances in this party. Aye, honestly.
SPEAKER_06Turn her and say she didn't hang about.
SPEAKER_02She'll get dragged back into this by the way. And so far as it can be.
SPEAKER_06Right. Lisa Lisa's got to say, fuck you up.
SPEAKER_02She's gonna get dragged back into this.
SPEAKER_06You're like, how can we afford that? Ah well.
SPEAKER_01I'm surprised they've started. She a little crunky wasn't uh arrested, that didn't find anything.
SPEAKER_10I know. Sturgeon showed remarkable lack of curiosity over SMP finances. I thought I was a remarkable lack of curiosity. Remarkable lack of curiosity.
SPEAKER_02Ruled with iron fist, but didn't he? He was rifling 400 grand out of the fucking.
SPEAKER_06We've received 600 grand worth of uh donations, here if he private funders are there's 400,000 missing out of that. Come on, what a fuck.
SPEAKER_10She was the leader, she was not only his wife, she's the leader of the party. She didn't notice 400,000 pounds go missing, like when they're relying on that money coming to the party. Aye, exactly. Folk were like mentioning farz all this money and she was not curious and uh can I can if somebody comes out and you say there's 400,000 missing, I couldn't be like 50. I know it's gonna happen to him. He's played guilty, ain't he? I giant. He'll hit it be some time, eh?
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah, well, we'll get time here. I think he's getting sentenced middle of June, I think.
SPEAKER_10I presume they're uh divorced, are they? Uh or they've separated, haven't they?
SPEAKER_02So did she not come out and say she's I thought she did.
SPEAKER_01Come out and said fit.
SPEAKER_09That she's maybe by?
SPEAKER_02She was by, aye.
SPEAKER_10Aye, that's by the by scandalous that, isn't it? That is massive. And the stuff we spent the money on getting a camper van, necklaces, and then it showed the neck her wearing the necklace. Yeah, come on, like it.
SPEAKER_02Fucking how much as a family you can have got when your book or missus comes here meet something, it's worth a fortune.
SPEAKER_06Her excuse was all we did uh high profile, well-paying jobs.
SPEAKER_01Rifling fun, doing it's truly there's a wife and I you would hear an idea if it's gonna in the bank.
SPEAKER_06Well, exactly. You can if it's gonna you get if a fucking motorhome appears. 120,000. What the fuck could you put?
SPEAKER_10Ah, well. Just winking winning. Kenny's just like giving cheese, like, we'll be alright. Yeah, we'll be fine.
SPEAKER_01Nobody can't about four hundred thousand store. Again, I can myself come home for work and spend twelve pounds fifty to GGR on four day. Okay, I can fucking buy it like aye. It's just buying a savage in the super. I'm just wondering if we can just pop up fifty.
SPEAKER_06Fuck muck you.
SPEAKER_10I just she definitely can. Oh, 100% angle says she knew a remarkable lack of curiosity. I've just read that in a book. That's exactly fit.
SPEAKER_08Ken, it's just he'll be the fall guy for it. Aye.
SPEAKER_06She'll be like, she's gonna tell me nothing. I don't want to kin nothing about your stealing.
SPEAKER_01Because if if she can't about it, there'll be a backlash with the whole SP party, will there? And there'll be a lot of non-confidence in the SNP.
SPEAKER_06Well, how can you trust the SNP going forward? We if you're a if you're a private donator.
SPEAKER_10Alright. It's a lot of scummy shit happens in politics, is there? It's just like you kind of trust Spencer scandal and all that, can it? These cunts are fucking untrustworthy. Yeah, every one of them. Oh 100%. Just done it for himself.
SPEAKER_06It's exactly that. I would seven.
SPEAKER_10Can I would never do or some good in scan? But it's just ruined. But that's kind of stuff, just a total lack of trust in politicians. That's it, and that's part of the why Fitti so fucking egregious. Uh and it's just fucking just destroys trust. And SMP's like the biggest part of here, can they're pretty much unbeatable. I know. I knew and just just sickens you like just sickens you. And I'd be even worse if I'd donated to that cause or something, which I would never would, but if it was if I did, there'll be some stuff stolen for me.
SPEAKER_06Can I mean yeah?
SPEAKER_10And it stealing for like it's basically stealing for the public. Oh, it is the public person. Uh see how can I we only hear about the folk that get caught. Uh how much folk get in a while we get, can't we?
SPEAKER_06Stealing money for the look at the scam with the MP's expenses, and I think that's a fucking joke, or the health thing with the PPE with COVID.
SPEAKER_01Covid whiskey are the contracts to fucking distress.
SPEAKER_10Puts me sideways. Oh aye. Fucking uh profiteering after uh uh epidemic.
SPEAKER_06But I'll be involved in that was profiteering a hell lot of them.
SPEAKER_10A lot, well her especially marking up a fucking company and then saying she was then D weight and then she got found out and dog, Ken, but how much fucking palms had she greased on the Y?
SPEAKER_06Ken, I mean I was fucking hundreds of folk involved in it.
SPEAKER_10It was Fitz's face that got her and uh that was dealing with Gove. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Another political scandal, is it? Yeah. My wank of the week spin sticking with Paul Dix's uh Miliband again. Aye aye. The hell thing potentially if I can get in ILF. Russia Scott Siles ain't good enough, so Scottish ain't good enough, but we'll buy Fair Russia.
SPEAKER_06I think we've got an embargo on. Absolute embarrassment, disgrace.
SPEAKER_02Dunk Enhanced Games. Aye, oh aye aye. I've been watching it and just it's just fucking a joke. Hate it. Shite, one of things good. No, uh it was there, it was the very last like race, which was a 50 metre front crawl for the broker world record. So you got 250k for one and a million for Brackenna record, but Fred Carly, who I remember as a sprinter, sort of sixth, seventh, eighth finisher in like Olympic finals, 9.96 full of heads. That was like watching a scientist picking up the other day, they cannot take as much performance enhanced as they want. You can't beat father time because these folk are obviously knocking on an age, can and so that's just this big building. Okay, I can kind of see because you would never get 250 grand for winning a race, but one world record out the hell thing, and the valve been pumping themselves for their gear for I don't know how long, but a period of time. Potentially. Potentially they weren't that good, and even with the drugs doesn't matter any better, or the top boys are doing it.
SPEAKER_01Better, yeah, still on it. Aye, but we look at back at like it's uh Johnson mine. Ben Johnson. Aye. He was fucking miles ahead, Abdi, but he you can't he was on it.
SPEAKER_08Oh, because he was fucking you would but you can't he was on it because you can't he was on it. Do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01If you didn't can he was on it, you wouldn't have kin he was on it.
SPEAKER_09No, no, true.
SPEAKER_02Uh second you can he's on it, you can't he's on it. Aye but in general it's been about a flop because I think they were expecting Abdi be full of beds, big money, like Abby's just records are way, and but then it's near a world record, aren't it?
SPEAKER_08Because they're near the top of the top of their sport, are they?
SPEAKER_02No. That's why you get to the top as well.
SPEAKER_08You watched it done.
SPEAKER_10And I didn't even think I was on.
SPEAKER_02It just clips a bunch of things.
SPEAKER_10Do you watch it? No.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_10So you're helping that along. It's the same, uh, same with the Jake Paul. You and Gal are the biggest critics like Jake Paul. And you boys watch it. So you you're partly responsible for it. You peddle using it. It's true though, you you contribute to the viewing figures and that's why they do it. They say, well, maybe Abdi slugs it, but it's got the biggest viewing figures who on a boxing match.
SPEAKER_09Somebody watch Tudor Vision. No. Two balls deep in uh season as poker. Gamble's neatly for you, is it? Scaling.
SPEAKER_10So have they got theirs using Sparel again? The cat sport, uh every time they speak about it on air, the cat of sport. Poker's definitely cards is a game. Yeah, it's definitely a game.
SPEAKER_06Snooker's a game. Darts game.
SPEAKER_10Aye. I think I'd go along with that, to be honest. Snooker, you get sports personality here and snooker, but you wouldn't get sports personality here for crib.
SPEAKER_01You've got to be darts darts, mindler.
SPEAKER_10So really it is a sport, isn't it? Uh shooting game. Game class a sport, though, would it? Uh-huh. So it doesn't matter if we say it doesn't matter. They care. I don't think poker would be class if you're definitely.
SPEAKER_01Poker would be classed as a leisure game. Recreation. Recreational game.
SPEAKER_10Is uh poker a sport? Is poker a sport? Fast answer. Whether poker is a sport depends on how you define a sport. Exactly. So many people will argue the world series of poker and competitive poker qualify a sport because they involve skill strategy, training and preparation, competition under rules, mental endurance and performance under pressure.
SPEAKER_06You could be sat at that table for a long time.
SPEAKER_10Aye, definitely. It is easy, Ken, if you've been sitting there for ages to go, fuck it. Fuck it, I got it. I did that at the last uh Oak thing, Ken. Oh sitting there for ages, never getting much, and then had pocket hits. I wouldn't I usually, but I played him really aggressive and got butt oot again. Aye.
SPEAKER_01So is it no? Right, uh muck of truth end this week. Uh the muck of truth.
SPEAKER_10Oh yeah. Down for the generational lingo, right? So I reckon I was asking the wife because the wife wasn't why I didn't ask a four. She said, No, but I might have. That's the problem. You're in 300 fans of cheer.
SPEAKER_07How do you mind that you did in episode 26? Can't mind that I didn't Friday night.
SPEAKER_01So I think we didn't us do.
SPEAKER_10Coupla, couple of examples, and I want you to tell me if I'm being over fussy or nay, right? So if you phone the apprentice and the answer to phone be, what's up? No. Is that acceptable? No. No. A hello, eh? I said Fitza. What's up? What's up? Hello? It's what I'm looking for. If you're addressing me, what's up? I'm not your mate. I'm your journey.
SPEAKER_05You agree with that? 100%. Oh, definitely.
SPEAKER_10If you're not five weeks, we're not gonna do it. You're on a fucking phone dude. Honestly. That's what your wife said.
SPEAKER_05What's up?
SPEAKER_06See if it's see if it was you phoning me.
SPEAKER_05Aye. But if it's somebody to I'm his boss. Hello, it's name what's up. What's up?
SPEAKER_10I would have never answered the phone to Logan with WhatsApp.
SPEAKER_11I would have said yes, but yes, but you've answered it.
SPEAKER_10Like, oh, you're not gonna be a little bit more you had to answer it and pop with it with the answer and then one last time off.
SPEAKER_02Oh no, that's a fool. What have I done?
SPEAKER_08Can't be important. So I can leave it for one.
SPEAKER_10And here's how the rain, right? So er young one of the young erroundworkers was using a bother. And er he'd sat at a table. This was back when it was still raining, winter. And he'd had a jacket on and he'd been leaning on a table and made a m a complete mess of the table, getting dubs out of the table. And he didn't clean it up, he just fucked off and left. This was at peace time. So it wasn't my it was not even my table. This is just me doing it, getting involved, and then getting involved. Because the Gina was more than a bit getting. So they were uh coming out and they were coming kind of alter kinda the times are staggered because there's not enough room in the body. So just ready to go naked man. I go, Simon. He turned out I go you fucking uh clean up after yourself. What do you mean? I go was you sitting at a table, I and uh I says your fucking sleeves off your jacket, man. I'm a complete mess at the table, they clean up after yourself. So he picks up his jacket and fit right enough, his sleeves are fucking minging with dub skin. And he sits to you and goes, My bad. Oh, I hate it. I hate it. Fit's not even fucking me. I goes, Fit My Bad? What do you mean my bad? Sorry? It's the fucking word you're looking for. Okay.
SPEAKER_08Then the you in that youngster says, Ah, is that sorry? No, it's not. No, it's not asking. I talk as sarcasm.
SPEAKER_05Sarcasm.
SPEAKER_08That's what I said.
SPEAKER_06What do you even mean? My bad. It doesn't even mark sense. I fucking shite.
SPEAKER_09It's a sarky sorry.
SPEAKER_02It's a sarky, sorry, eh?
SPEAKER_10So is this a new fucking eringo, is it kid? So if it was the endgamer. Well, I just he's kinda he didn't say sorry. No. Did he clean up? My bad. No, it'd already been cleaned up. I was just getting on him so he didn't beat it again.
SPEAKER_11He's never been back in. No. Good. Well, he maybe his, but even you're a no.
SPEAKER_06And he's wore a clean jacket. Or he's tidied up behind him, so that quit to bullying in the in the workplace.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_06Probably would.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_10It's my gene, isn't it? Leaving the tables. You should clean up after your hands.
SPEAKER_01Especially if you're sharing your table with somebody. Because you go to a canteen sometimes and there's just fucking forks and knives left in the sink, and it's just like fucking clean them up.
SPEAKER_06Just wash 'em, dry 'em, put them in the back. Ken if he just said, Oh no, fucking draining board. Part of the problem.
SPEAKER_01You've taken the time to wash it, took a time to dry it, put it up.
SPEAKER_08Dry it, put it down. But if he just said again, oh I looked at his sleeves, oh fuck, I didn't realise. Sorry, again.
SPEAKER_10I just tucked a sting clean out of the situation. But then my bad just antagonised me even mere.
SPEAKER_08Should really be taking a jacket off when you're gonna hit it. Oh, everything. Crown workers, cry bastards. They're rolling their boot in Dobbs. Dobbs I day.
SPEAKER_10Soaking.
SPEAKER_08Salt there. Aye.
SPEAKER_02My bad. It's just a fucking hate. What did Katie say about Ayn? She on your side?
SPEAKER_10Er no. No? Even folk and both they weren't on my side. No, no. They said my bad means is an apology. No, it's his name, my book is.
SPEAKER_06My bad doesn't even make sense.
SPEAKER_10That's near my book. That's near an apology in my book. No, it's sarcasm to me.
SPEAKER_06Only it says two things, my bad is just some of the lingo's quite funny actually.
SPEAKER_10But I'd add to what's up and my bad. Nah, the henna.
SPEAKER_06So that lingo's funny then.
SPEAKER_10Well daughter. Nah can't see that.
SPEAKER_02But you say that just marks mehenko if you were my dad and that was Sid and he was in the bother.
SPEAKER_10You wouldn't have thought you respected the boy's like, you'd have just said, Oh, I did it, I'm sorry. Sorry, I'm sorry. That's what I would have then, Ken for how younger. I wouldn't have go.
SPEAKER_06That's a difference.
SPEAKER_05That's a difference. You go you're fucking nailed to the water.
SPEAKER_06Exactly. Left their arm on it. Yeah. He's been cheeky boy guffer and he's tied up in the bothy. Tied up in the bothy. Ah, it's not a jim.
SPEAKER_02He's hanging to the place.
SPEAKER_06Let him do then. Brush handle through the fucking sleeves.
SPEAKER_01Classic. That's how they didn't my feather put like a three by two or a four by two in his bailer suit. Then forklift days and just lift him off a gron bit class. Just a wee bit. Just a wee bit. Like a crucifixion.
SPEAKER_08Classic.
SPEAKER_06Legs running.
SPEAKER_10I made Logan say his boss, so this is getting back to fucking 190 cake, like this is a four-war stuff case. His boss only had one arm and his other arm was like a steel pole. They just used to whack you wait if you fucked up.
SPEAKER_06But you didn't fuck up a lot.
SPEAKER_09No, exactly. You learn quickly. Aye. If I wasn't mentioned the boy cut his hand off. Boy Malm, wasn't it? No.
SPEAKER_01No, if I cut the hand off, we uh Sa.
unknownEh?
SPEAKER_06Oh no, it was a boy. Slaying our post. Oh yeah, he used to work. We got his hand on a mental machine when he was younger.
SPEAKER_01Off his hand. Aye, very much so. My good truth is is it acceptable to say night night in a group chat? Fuzzy group chat. Well, like last Thursday, Kim were I speaking about kind of golfing day and stuff like that. Kind of I'll just get a bit hyper and stuff. I think I was close to typing in night night, folks.
SPEAKER_10Sleep tight. See you in the morning. No, never. That's just as Kim we spoke about you wouldn't have phoned your mate. Alright, how's it going? Night night.
SPEAKER_06Just checking up on your body.
SPEAKER_10I wouldn't have been able to get to sleep if I just fuck is that about it's new.
SPEAKER_01So three are Glasgow.
SPEAKER_10I would can if I'd be worried about I'd be worried about use a lot to top yourself. If I got a phone call for face, love you. You're like fitching on here. See you there. I'd be like, I'd hey fucking go up. Just to mark sure.
SPEAKER_06No, I'm working. I'm working. Oh for fuck's sake. In a car. In a car up a road.
SPEAKER_08Aye.
SPEAKER_06Him tucked along. Hear him as you're driving about. Oh no, he's snoring just a big thing.
SPEAKER_11Lying in a heap. Lying in a heap on his stair. I've broken both legs because he broke a room too long.
SPEAKER_01But if you're if you're uh sharing a room like say we're got three of us are going to Glasgow next month by no hotel. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09I've got to go through you snoring again, honestly, mate.
SPEAKER_01Shed. You've next shit, have you? Honestly, shed. But yes, it'll be a quiet night. Because there's drink. Aye. I might need drink. Network. So for three of us are lying over bed, is it acceptable to say night night? No. No.
SPEAKER_06No?
SPEAKER_01No. Especially if you're spooning my No I'll be in a single bed in the toilet.
SPEAKER_06Oh, you will be in a single bed in a separate room. No.
SPEAKER_05No, it's near night night.
SPEAKER_01No, just kids.
SPEAKER_05David said night. Twice. It's just night.
SPEAKER_10I say nightmare. Because she's only in awake when I go to sleep. Oh.
SPEAKER_06I just show up through the rooms nightly night and fairly night night.
SPEAKER_08I might have too late now. That's fucking TV off.
SPEAKER_01Do you say night to the wife?
SPEAKER_10I'm usually zonked. She's like late. I go to bed at four hours. Usually fast asleep by the time she arrives. Like until something planned.
SPEAKER_08And do you announce that you're going to bed or you just go to bed? No, I'll say I'm all off my bed. Good night.
SPEAKER_10Hi, night. Good night. I'm a I'm just trying to think. I'm all off my bed. Night, love ya. That's a that's my sweet. Night, love ya.
SPEAKER_07I wish Jesus on hope.
SPEAKER_05Oh, we're gonna tell the weekend ended with sex person.
SPEAKER_11Jen's like that dog getting sex sex made a fit for you and eat it. But he goes to bed. He looks he's got a popping eyes on the look at that.
SPEAKER_01So no.
SPEAKER_11At least that she grow like heaps of hair. Kevin! Fucking big ox star hair, Ken. But yeah, but you got in.
SPEAKER_06Aye. I heard I said in Friday. I can't remember now. I can't imagine if I told Mass. Is it acceptable to be on a stag do and negle the next day because you're hungover?
SPEAKER_10Nah. Definitely not acceptable. It's totally neacceptable. It's no matter how ill you are. You've got to get a fucking couple of pints in.
SPEAKER_06Sure it was on Friday somebody said, Oh, I didn't go the next day because I was hungover, and I think I'll You can never say face again, that's it.
SPEAKER_10It's unacceptable in a stagger.
SPEAKER_01If I was a while and abroad and a starger and the star didn't come out the following day, I'd be looking for a flight to him.
SPEAKER_06Why? For him. Why are you hung over? Why are you still in the drunk when you get up?
SPEAKER_10He's not getting invited to win. Oh and he's out. Well, he's out to win.
SPEAKER_06Black blackballed. Blackbold. Or he only gets evening. Aye. That's when you still get a prison. That's a classic. That's what I heard. I'm sure it was on Friday, something. He was a stag. No, he wasn't a stag, but he was on the stag and he couldn't go out the next day. So it's all over.
SPEAKER_08It would be worse if it was a stag.
SPEAKER_02I'd be in the stag for a stag, didn't he come out?
SPEAKER_08And the stall is hard.
SPEAKER_05Oh, it's fucking holy f so we just disappeared in a rain weekend. That's unacceptable. The stag never come out.
SPEAKER_02Till he did come out, but he didn't come out till seven o'clock at night. Surely allowed. No. Oh, it wasn't us.
SPEAKER_06Well, the best man should be banned out the friend group on the star out of the friend group. Because that's nay. I'm not gonna win. Nah. No. I didn't are some serious questions if the best man's name sort of started out in the star's knee coming out.
SPEAKER_02That's why I've got a massive problem with the brother being the best man like. Because the live is sidewind, his blood sticker and water.
SPEAKER_10Nah, but even nah. Nail my brother. I was no way. Oh, I was no way. No.
SPEAKER_06Same way if my brother drunk, he'd be trailing.
SPEAKER_10I've got s I've got I'm so adamant because dog star that second day, I was dying. I was absolutely dying. And I I still went to so you have to.
SPEAKER_05You have to.
SPEAKER_02You have to and if you d think you're capable of that, then you'd go to the start, do.
SPEAKER_10We went car S my car S and dogs, and the smell of aisle, the heat. Just ahing about the cartis. One of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. Just do it in the carty. I did a couple of laps. Brakes on. Unless I stopped and got out. I was getting his fill the helmet.
SPEAKER_11So I stopped in the middle of the track and just the boy was chasing. What are you doing?
SPEAKER_10Helmet came off, straight into the toilet, threw my ringer up. Holy grey.
SPEAKER_06What a shade of grey. Never seen a shade like a grey like that before.
SPEAKER_10Ken, like usually if when you're sick, you feel better. It made me feel worse.
SPEAKER_02Desperate for me spewing out helmet. So was I.
SPEAKER_10So I couldn't have done any carties, and then we went there. I was like a pop next door. Scottish Cup final was on Celtic and Hearts, was it maybe? Cool. Celtic and Sunday. Can't I mind? And oh my god, the first couple of pints with Jesus. But after the first pin.
SPEAKER_08After the first couple. Once they're doing they're doing again, like shoot up Celtic Hearts.
SPEAKER_06Selic Sunday. Fairways, that's fair ways.
SPEAKER_08Fairways, aye. Once I got going, I was fine.
SPEAKER_01You just have to take the punishment when you go home. I was a fairway. You just keep going and going.
SPEAKER_10Keep going and then just pay for it when you get back. I was best man and askers. No way I could have fucking no way I could have bailed it. I was a fairwick.
SPEAKER_11Dog first night home.
SPEAKER_01I was in Butcher's though about ten half past ten. Train was Thursday.
SPEAKER_02That's right.
SPEAKER_10Dog follow the gillian style.
SPEAKER_06Came in bed at six o'clock.
SPEAKER_11Fucking wrecked.
SPEAKER_06Dressed in the first casualties that weekend.
SPEAKER_02A few high-level casualties remain unnamed.
SPEAKER_01What a laugh. That's a thing of a stagger though. That's the hell point. Of course it is.
SPEAKER_10You can go to him if you're absolutely like guy and look at it.
SPEAKER_02That's fair game, so that means you've had a right shot at it.
SPEAKER_06You drink yourself blind and you kinda speak.
SPEAKER_10But you get a hell night's vest, you can you're out.
SPEAKER_02You're out plenty of sleep.
SPEAKER_06Still the best stag to have been on at fucking the next morning.
SPEAKER_02Oh the breakfast table.
SPEAKER_06That is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life.
SPEAKER_10I never get hungover. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Aye. As soon as he said that, he had it come in, didn't you?
SPEAKER_06Oh did I get hungover?
SPEAKER_08Okay. We'll see. Some stories stick with you after all the time. That'll be one of one of them like 100%.
SPEAKER_02Excuse me, Sandra. Son. I've been sick, he's not even sick on the table, is he?
unknownAye.
SPEAKER_05I've been sick. In the dining room. Aye. What the floor is get out.
SPEAKER_07Oh so anybody in here couldn't have sleep last night, Saddy!
SPEAKER_05It just made us laugh even better.
SPEAKER_06You're looking excited, boys spewing his finger in the boot.
SPEAKER_05Projectile in the bush.
SPEAKER_06Oh, never fucking.
SPEAKER_08The funniest bit was he just didn't move.
SPEAKER_11He was sitting in his breakfast, he sat up straight, and just projectiled sick. Coughed sick out of himself. Coughed out of fleer. Just didn't a move.
SPEAKER_02He'll never gain respect back for anyway, will he? Ever again.
SPEAKER_06She's gone bat shit crazy. He spewed outside spew out of fleer. Dogs licking it up.
SPEAKER_02Aye. And we are just lying on the fleer.
SPEAKER_06Fucking belly nuts.
SPEAKER_01Fair weekend. Fantasy fit by then. The final in fifth position, James Williamson inter Milanos at 2-3-5-7. In fourth position, Ross Craig Mile, Angel Delete, 2-3-6-8. In third position, Ryan Spencer, roll the dice, 2-3-7-0. In second position, Keith Robertson's Robo Raiders 2375. And this year's winner is Mitchell Gray, FC Mitch 2398. Well done, Mitchell. Well done, Mitchell. So if it's a win-ins, Mike. So Mitchell, first position, you'll be getting £1,150. Nice Robo, you're getting £700. Superb. So much appreciated, Ken. We were doing a lot of things for charity, lads. Nah, it was being a fair season of it. Well done then well done. Well done, Mitch.
SPEAKER_02He's been a lot of mileage to keep yourself in that.
SPEAKER_01He's been top for a long time as well, Mitchell. Um there's been a few occasions in the last few years that somebody's kind of went top in the last few weeks. Like so but Mitchell's stuck here at the top for a while. So Flair play Fair Plate is updating the top ten there. Super, well done. I'm not interested either. Must be a lower. I think it's like 200. Okay. 270. Oh 240. I can't give up. I haven't done it in fucking weeks, couple weeks. So uh congratulations to the winners. Um I'll get in contact with you tomorrow and we'll sort of get a payment for the the winners. Buy me a coffee then this week.
SPEAKER_10Oh Stevos. Steve was bought us a coffee if I was reading. Hi lads. Couldn't face buying a coffee last week. Losing cheated out the title like that was a hard pill to swallow. Utter devastation. Aberdeen and Hearts fan spent two years arguing about who was better between Mayowski and Shackland just for both of them to end up at Rangers. If you don't laugh, you'll cry. Just rubbing salt in the wounds yet again this week. Glad the golf day was a success. Cheers, lads. Steve O, a very depressed jambo.
SPEAKER_01Steve O'Coach. Cheers, Steve O. Steve Park. Steven Park, Parky. Yeah. Sport us for coffee.
SPEAKER_06Okay. Now that the main golf outwind this year is over, can you put a shout out to Greg Mitchell Testimonial Golf Day on Friday, 12th of June? All teams sold out. However, individual whole sponsorship available for £100 per hole, where you can provide us with banners, etc., for the day. Mitchell's been a tremendous servant at Locals with over 13 years of service to the club. Anyone said, please contact G Mitchell Testimonial at Hotmail.com. Cheers, Sparky. Well done, Greg. Not done with that. Some service.
SPEAKER_01Is it Gothday at Emberi? Is it Embarudi? Yeah. Yeah. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers Parky and Cheers Play. Get some sponsorship for your pamphlet.
SPEAKER_02Shandy has bought us for coffees. Loving the pod, guys. Had a conversation at work last week and thought you guys would want to debate this too. Imagine you're a porn star. Does making gay porn, if you are straight, make you gay? I said it's a job, so it's probably doesn't matter, but others said it does make you gay. Keep the laughs up. They are the highlight of my office commute each week.
SPEAKER_11That's a great email.
SPEAKER_02I think we've discussed this afore, haven't we?
SPEAKER_05No, I think we have. No. No, don't for me it marks you keep. I'm torn, isn't it?
SPEAKER_06For me, it's just torn. Hope you're not. We walk away a lump for a few.
SPEAKER_01Unless you're real. Nah, you're deaf. For me, yeah. Yeah, you have to be gay. You have to be gay.
SPEAKER_07You're either gay or you're a super fucking professional like.
SPEAKER_01I'm saying it's your just the monkey gay unless you like it. I suppose it depends like the actors as well. Can you see gay actors that are now gay? Are they gay? Aye aye acting.
SPEAKER_06But there are knees. There's no willies wallow up and you but your face are gonna be.
SPEAKER_10So kissing snogging, snogging and ramming your cock into somebody's ass. It's different ball game out together. Ball game.
SPEAKER_02I did watch a podcast. A boy was an American podcast I reckon very ways, but a boy was always burning. He he was a porn star and he said he was straight. But he was Dean Gay porn and the boy started really pushing him, going. Well you must be gay. You must be gay. And the boy spotted on me and we offered a meet.
SPEAKER_10I I only think you're gay if you say you're gay. Alright. If you say you're gay, you're gay. If you say you're nay gay, you're nay gay. That's my no. So if somebody says, I bet you shacking up broken uh porn, ah but that's just my job. Just my job. Aye. I'm just you know I would never go with a man, I'd never marry a man, and never nay sexually attractive to attracted to a man. So I just fucked them for money.
SPEAKER_06Nah for me, no. How do you get a hard on if you don't find them attractive?
SPEAKER_10Well, there's peels and shit to talk to me. You maybe wouldn't enjoy it, but we've all got jobs that like Dean or work.
SPEAKER_01But with Dean Exactly the sparking equivalent to that job.
SPEAKER_10Furniture to move, carpet stuff up That's exactly the same. So I'm we the boy, I think it's it doesn't make it this not necessarily market gay. Being gay would help. I was a big would be. We'd help. I think that's a classic. A biscuit or something.
SPEAKER_01Fourth of contour box five cafes. But like lads, crafting golf golf outing. Shame about the golf and our pal being mere hyper than a footret on speed. Mugatous for you, is it acceptable for three grown men to go to the toy to discuss as should be shed described as business? Questions need to be asked whether it was overhand holes or piglets with nail lugs. Great pod, lads. Seen us through some tough times in life. Fuck the pool, I'm on a Jerse Mass. 452. That's Jed Nat's team, is it? Is it keeper for Lewis Mel was it? Oh Lewis. I think it's their boss. So uh thanks for coming to golfing. Hope you enjoyed it. Glad you enjoyed it. Randy Dandy's bought us a coffee.
SPEAKER_06Alright, lads, you'll remember me from that maintaining friendship chats a few weeks ago. Oh so you're still speaking. That's fine. Thanks, Marcy, for your concern last week. You'll be pleased again. Uh me and the lads have taken your advice seriously and we've all booked a Pilates class together, followed by bottomless brunch next weekend. Feel free to come. All the best and congrats for your golf day in advance.
SPEAKER_01Oh welly dandy, cheers Randy Dundee. It's good to see you fine. You've uh you're pulling it back now. After the bottomless brunch, I'll be pulling son back. Um Ryan bought us a coffee.
SPEAKER_10Uh is it back me?
SPEAKER_08Right.
SPEAKER_10Alright, lads, got an interesting one for you here. First of all, special mention to my future brother-in-law Ethan, who is getting married this weekend. However, he is an Arsenal fan, and the wedding is the same day as the Champions League final, rookie mistake. My question is, would you boys do what would you boys do if your team was playing the Champions League final on your wedding day? Well it's in the evening.
SPEAKER_07We could all be fucking macho men and say, I'd fucking fuck your wedding off and watch the Champions League final, but you wouldn't. He's made a mistake he's made a mistake. He's fucked up there.
SPEAKER_02Aye. You check it. Check it. You can't hear your wedding in a champion.
SPEAKER_06That's why you hate weddings in June or July.
SPEAKER_01Well it's June, is it? Could it be first of June for me? First of June's Monday. He's got a June. You wouldn't have made that same mistake, uh I wouldn't have worried. If I was getting married in teams and Champions League, fine on one of the still get married.
SPEAKER_06See the kickoff time, you see, he's alright, you'll get to see it. Because it's half past five.
SPEAKER_10Only problem, like half like Abdis. It's got to be somewhere, and then kind of mitherin laugh starts screaming fuck is Abdis, I gone and Abdi's through house watching the Champions League.
SPEAKER_06Keep my folk when I go at least wedding now.
SPEAKER_10Because they'll be watching the final.
SPEAKER_02I knew it is updated the phones on though, don't they? Aye.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, no gun if it's an evening invite only.
SPEAKER_10I'd rather not watch. I can't watch TV and my phone. I can't do it.
SPEAKER_01Moneys are too smart. Gonna see if it's gonna. So um hope you're a good win. Uh Lewis Illingworth bought us a coffee. If I like, lads, see if She can pronounce my surname right. Or you go, Shed. Illingworth. Well done. Right this time, a coffee for the attempt. Last time I bought coffees was to give a shout out to Mole Man after getting through his cancer treatment. And you boys mentioned the brave catwalk event. I had the privilege to watch him be one of the models on the stage and echo your thoughts. It was an absolute unbelievable event, so well done to all get involved. Just to let it came, Mike. Just to let it came, Mike. If you didn't read it loud in class, then you got bullied. On your side from this one, Maryland is a state I the state loves how the other three with the superior geography knowledge just pressed it off.
SPEAKER_02Scott Johnson's bought to stay coffees. Just three coffes this time, one for Mike and one for Matt, and you can share the third. Get it right up, shed it, and the Hund on. Was close to turning the pod off during your settle discussion. I'm not defending the fans that run on the pitch, but for Dunk to wax lyrical about punishments for settling when your own club fans put their own player in hospital by throwing a seat from the stand. They also stormed the pitch against Ross County a couple of seasons ago with no punishments for either people in glass houses. McInnis also celebrated with his fans on the pitch when Kamarnik were promoted. Well done to Mass and Mike for nothing jumping in as much as those two. Really hope Aberdeen get relegated next season. And did I mention get it fucking up? Yeah, champions again, sending this before the cup final. So if we get beat, please don't read this out.
SPEAKER_01I went to that in first because I've been above it.
SPEAKER_06Roberto through the heart. Scott Johnson's a prick.
SPEAKER_11He bought four coffees to say that, so he must have been adamant.
SPEAKER_01Sean bought your coffee. No, must.
SPEAKER_09Nah it's shed.
SPEAKER_06Just a singular coffee for the resident hon Barimasi. The only one not to look at Celtics League victory through maroon tinted specs. Don't get a trout yop yet, especially. And we shout out uh we shout out to my for my Paul Sloth Will as well. If you can. I've recently converted him to the pod and he's working his way through the back catalogue of crack. Cheers Sean.
SPEAKER_01Hello, Will. You in the box of coffee?
SPEAKER_10No pressure. Fit like lads, bought a coffee a wee while ago and told you about the boy called the clock. Just brought the one coffee to make up for the one I never bought mask last time. But to be fair, surely a reading lesson for Mike can't be that expensive. So you can use a four pound for that instead. I'd like to formally apologize on behalf of Scott who sent that absolute abomination of a mug of truth in the last pod. I have to work with this silly little fucker every day. But what else would you expect from a Tim? Spare me a thought. Here's a mug of truth for you. What is acceptable punishment for someone who picks up their urinal next to you in the toilets? Shed will probably say fuck all because he strikes me as the type of boy who his na got time to stand about and wait. Time is money and just hoods in next to you and has a squint at ya pecker. Cheers, lads.
SPEAKER_06Why would you know if it's different?
SPEAKER_01Will we discuss test in the Legion? If you're gonna urinal, you're gonna middling. Aye.
SPEAKER_03Say no, I go right as far as far as side.
SPEAKER_09Just a key in the middle.
SPEAKER_10But is he suggesting like if there's one rhinal left and you want to piss, that you kind of use that until somebody's left? No, no, you just find out. I think that's what he's saying though, isn't it? Here's what is acceptable punishment for somebody who picks up the rhino next to you in the toilets. So is that at onny time? Must be on the time. Different than the first five, you're pissing in one and he comes right next to you. I would say that's fucking that's a bit dodge. That's weird. Because the first five or checker.
SPEAKER_01First five, you're you're gotten one, three, and five. And then there's two and fours left. Left. If one, three and five's occupied, you've got to use two and two or four. You're like Van I've got time to hang a boot, huh? Andy Faye Armadale has bought his two coffees. Well, are you doubting with her? Come on, Mike.
SPEAKER_06You've been reading lesson.
SPEAKER_01Two coffees for Marcy and Mike for not having a crispoid styled meltdown like Duncan Shedd about Celtic winning the league. Thank you very much. Can tell Shed's a ref because he talks utter shit about Fitbah. Love the podcast, lads. Cheers, Andy! I can't believe I'm getting love for Celtic fans. Abdi, thank you very much. We've done that in last thing. Boy, for your thing in. Thank you very much, Abdi's bottles of coffee. Much appreciated. Thank you. Um that's about it. Thank you. Oh well, lads, another pod by we. Um obviously was an issue night with online with the the raffle thing, so we'll try and get it sorted and get the raffle done properly and get it online for you. Um thanks to Abdi again who's spot raffles. Thanks Abdi's involved in the golf day and made it such a success. Really much appreciated. Um that's kind of died, and we'll get the World Cup sweepy when I go.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um get uh the predictor and just a sweepie. Yep. Um get some money raised for Kaylee's V Stars. Yes, uh get some money for them. So good stuff for the rest of the plans last week, lads. We're gonna do Scotland Game on Saturday.
SPEAKER_10No, no, no, no, so you're gonna hell look at a second hand cult. X-rent on the cult.
SPEAKER_01I actually just bought a fucking celt online the other day here. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Uh too thick for a stage.
SPEAKER_10Payton was there today. Today instead of sheeps left. I'm gonna have a more deny time of day, but gonna be a look.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna I might nip in more because I'm gonna get Harrison a kilt. Okay, for a different game as well. Like so I'll maybe nip in to see if kinda stuff they've got for the kids. 50 quid for a proper kilt, like it'd be decent, like. I presume it's near a five yard either. I'm gonna say like eight or nine, is it a thicker? X rental so with good cult, like hundred percent.
SPEAKER_10I mean I've got it's fucking sorry, but it smelled like a skartkin, it's like a picnic blanket, really.
SPEAKER_08Aye. Light though for warmer days. And the pleats fuck up in them, again, if you sit in them, the like a real cult pleats that fuck up again.
SPEAKER_10Ah yeah, thicker, that's what I mean. You've got your in cult of you, shit. Does it still fit you?
SPEAKER_06Since I was twenty-one.
SPEAKER_10That's why I was I was the same you was a fat bastard. Just well, I put on a bit of beef and got a larger stuff. I'd like to hang for now for me. But your cult's got a bit of it's got a give.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, a lot of give. You can you can actually buy the buckles have got decent sized buckles, but you can also buy buckle extenders for a bit.
SPEAKER_10So if you really needed it.
SPEAKER_06I really need to let it do it.
SPEAKER_10What kind of cart carton have you got you can?
SPEAKER_06Ancient hunting freezer. To the read. To double double yardage unit. It's heavy as fuck. Is it? Ah man really heavy. Warming a? That's cunting warm. Aye. And a lot of sweat when you are. Aye.
SPEAKER_01Oh good stuff, anyway. Well lads, um yeah, good in. We'll take it easy.
SPEAKER_00No me moleste mosquito. No me moleste mosquito. No me moleste mosquito. Why don't you go? No me moleste mosquito. Let me eat my burrito. No me moleste mosquito. Why don't you go home?
